I’m not quite sure what technology it actually validated. All it proved is that the unit was incapable of acting as an on demand power source and that it was reliant on a bank of batteries to deliver the required charge when needed.
The whole USP of a fuel cell concept was that it was meant to be an on demand supply, which it patently isn’t, so one would question the actual usefulness in the real world…if it’s reliant on a battery to support it, why not go the whole hog and fire power from renewable straight int a storage medium and by pass the chocolate teapot element in the middle….

Wouldn't profess to know it all, but what I do know is that, looking at the pace of advancement, I fear that this is going absolutely nowhere, and all of the Ubers are being taken for mugs.
Here's the deal. If the company still hasn't released anything saying that it has actually sold something on a commercial basis (not deployed, commenced field trials, or more laughably had a case study implemented) within the next 6 months, then you Ubers admit that there's something amiss. If they do issue something that says that there is indeed a commercial product, and it's been sold on a commercial basis, then I'll eat humble pie, and disappear from the board forever. If all of the planets do line up, and they do actually make a sale, then I'll be as happy as the next man, because that will affect the share price, and I might actually be in profit (averaged down cost about 22 pence), which is what we are all bloody here for!
In the meantime, you Uberists carry on trying to steady the ship, if that's what you need to do to keep the dream alive.

On the matter of the case study, if there was actually a commercially viable product in the factory ready to roll, why on earth would anyone need to get involved in a case study, even undertaking a field trial for a little genset is a bit extreme....its all starting to look like a symbiotic greenwashing exercise........

But the thought of the undying gratitude of the Ubers (assuming many many planets were to line up, and the earth decides to spin the other way, and my amazing concept were to be adopted nationwide by “Gullible District Council” is strangely appealing……

Having said that, local authorities are probably the only people stupid enough to invest in an unproven virtue signalling white elephant vanity project, so maybe an ideal marketplace for the bull merchant in chief, AB….

So it looks like the cancel brigade is out in force. No problem with that, attempt to discredit all you wish, but the counter will always be based on irrefutable logic, and the acid test will always be whether those seeking to cancel can issue a valid response. As we already know, when a yes / no answer is requested, the cancel brigade simply evaporate, prime example being.
The units out on deployment are being subjected to testing by the customer prior to (hopefully) orders flooding in. The company on its website says that the product is available to order. Is the product ready for sale, or is the website misleading? answer yes or no..... this has been posed many times, and to date, no one from the bully boy camp has had balls to respond.

Please explain....backtracking? A simple ironic post saying that another poster may have made a mistake, really doesn't suggest to any rational being that the two persons are one and the same, so I fail to see where the back tracking comes in.
Oh, the irony, I've just noted that I used the phrase RATIONAL. I would pose the question, would any RATIONAL person continue with the absolute and certain belief that all is well with the company, and that there is a viable product waiting to be sold? Look at the evidence, all the company has top offer at the moment is a mini power station that, at peak loads can power three electric kettles, and its managed to deploy less than half a dozen of them on some indeterminate lease arrangement; it's supposed to be developing something for ABB, but there have been no updates, the company doesn't follow up enquiries, yet the website says that a product is available for hire. Great fanfare was made about the benefit6s of the tie in with extreme E, yet that has now been lost, but hey, ho, that's OK because the outfit that poached it have a unit that looks a bit rough around the edges, whereas ours was super sleek (but wasn't up to the task) one of the USP's of AFC's offering was scalability, yet it wasn't able to scale up to what Extreme E wanted. Car chargers, nothing; urban airport fiasco, demo unit that couldn't really demo capabilities (whatever they were, we don't really know); Marine / Vard just another "development project" thrown into the ring to but time.
Mystic meg time.......On Radio 4 this morning, someone was rattling on about using waste heat from data centres to heat swimming pools; my guess is that AFC will latch onto this and promote the idea of a micro generation unit to be fitted to all leisure centres thus meaning that the heat produced by the carbon neutral production of energy can be used to heat the pools, even better than data centres......lets spin this one out as the next new product, it'll give the company another 3 years of dicking about pretending to be commercial (I'm beginning to think that it is in fact ONLY PRETENDING TO BE AN R&D COMPANY!.
As for ramping up production, I wonder if the company has bought any more croissant making machines, and extended their robot capability beyond ONE.......

Ok time to fess up……AIM is a sleeper agent for the basher / shorter trolls..he was parachuted into the board in 2015, and has posted over 1800 AFC positive posts, and got into spats with some of the sceptics, and precisely on 9 March, at the behest of his paymasters, when they triggered “operation Git” he changes allegiance and goes on the offensive, and becomes and anti AFC basher, except that, he manages to **** that up by outing himself by stating that he’s new to AFC, when it’s ABSOLUTELY CLEAR to anyone who’s followed the board that he’s a poster of long standing….
Ubers, take a step from your absolutist stance, read the above, and recognise how ridiculous your current attack is….
Or is it simply that you thin skins don’t like the idea of one of your own waking up, smelling the coffee and expressing a bit of realism….

I am fairly new to AFC, but i notice the market didn’t like the last RNS. Yet many here did?
He then stated that someone posted this on another site, and he thought that it was a valid point
From this simple error, he seems to have been labelled as some kind of basher fraud, which is typical of the thin skins….I now appear to be one and the same poster in your parallel worlds, but I would respectfully suggest you go back a year or so ago, when there was a long running spat between me and AIM over what constituted a loss on a share, and at that point, is position was absolutely pro AFC and long….but maybe my multiple aliases were just picking a fight with themselves for no reason…….Irony alerts! Don’t take that literally, it’s a joke, just like “don’t bully the bloke”
I just wonder why all of you Ubers are getting so aggressive (well, more so than usual)
