I’d suggest you guys stop looking at the share price playing the guessing game of up or down, and stop talking about how great the cars are. Just look at the business and make the buy/sell/hold decision on the basis of whether or not you think this business will grow or decline. Just my POV as a guy who’s interested in business but is neither long nor short here. All the best.

Yeah, essentially the bashers have taken over this board. I can't be bothered to engage with them so I just filter them and post a little reminder of our value every so often. They can bash all they like, I won't read any of it.

NAP was sold last year for about £600M with 2.32M oz of Pd
We will have before any sale 15M oz.
That's 600/2.32x15=£3879M
80% belongs to EUA that's £3103M
90% after fees is £2793M
80% after tax £2234M
Discounted to PV at 8% for 2 years (0.857) for construction = £1915M

Divided by 2.8B shares is 68p per share.

This is the minimum if you becnchmark against NAP.

Our costs are about half that of NAP; we have WK; PD prices have gone up. So we should be worth more than 68p.

When I and others said a few months ago that AML couldn't pay the bills and would have to have placing, we were screamed at for being 'maggots' and are being screamed at still.

After I wrote that, the sp doubled. Now it has crashed again.

Lesson 3: BASHERS POST MANY TIMES A DAY. They try to wear you out. They comment on everything, every other post, and can answer every question. THEY KNOW IT ALL! There is no positive comment they won't Bash. They try to control the board. True longs may have to confront the Bashers or they will appear to the newbies as being the people with all the information. This is best accomplished by posting positive, well researched data on the company, repetitively, while trying hard not to engage the Bashers in direct repartee. REMEMBER - LONGS... RESIST USING THE BASHERS ALIAS!

200,000 x $40 = $8M PA
x 0.43 = 3.5M

My point Calamari is that not all negative posters are bashers.

You might be right Calamari. You know I didn't write the article. I think it makes enough valid points to be useful. The spirit of the article perhaps more than the letter.

I posted negative posts on SXX. one maybe two. I said my piece and moved on.

I posted negatively on AML too. It got out of hand. I posted negatively for a few days before moving on, which was far too long.

What we're seeing here is not someone giving a different point of view, but a relentless, desperate attempt to create negativity in the face of overwhelming evidence, for their own personal reasons IMO.

Calamari, I have no knowledge of the other board you're referring to so can't answer your specific question.

Just btw, not everybody who writes a negative post is a basher. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. But to post multiple negative posts daily for months on end, while refusing to acknowledge any validity to any positive point that's made...............? IMO no normal, sane person would do that.

If someone thought a stock was bad, they can say so on the BB (as I have done in the past). They can repeat it, they can discuss. But after a while, a normal person would stop. They said what they thought, they were not convinced by the response, so they decide to not invest and they move on. Why on earth would anyone keep on posting negatively like a broken record for months? We're not talking days here, we're talking months. It is just not normal behaviour.

BroxB, I agree with what you're saying in general. The BBs are often full of people who are exclusively positive in outlook and won't change their minds no matter what facts are presented.

The EUA board is a little different. We have ppl who are exclusively negative in outlook and won't change their minds despite the massively overwhelmingly positive developments.

I have seen enough people's calculations and logical trains of thought on this BB to be comfortable that this is not a circle-jerk of positivity. The reason there are so many of us all posting such positivity on here in because so many of us are independently convinced that this is a great investment.

Then you get the bashers who have been proven illogical again and again. Their contradictions and refusal to answer simple and obvious questions belies their intentions. To give one clear example, a certain poster here claims to be a long-term holder, but has long been convinced that the share is worth less than 1p. If that were true, why on earth didn't he sell at any point from Oct to Feb for 3.5-7.2p? That makes no sense. So to label this person a basher is far from group-think IMO.

The Basher 'Pack' Mentality

Bashers love to work in packs. It provides the quintessential cover to achieve supposedly "independent" validation of an argument. It is neither independent nor validating.

Pack Structure: Basher Packs can be comprised of any number of Bashers. They can be purposely formed within an organization or they can be "ad hoc" formed during a conclave on a particular board. In fact a pack mentality can be achieved by an ambitious "party of one" with a few select aliases.

Once a pack is formed, a leader emerges. This leader is usually acknowledged by other Bashers because of 1. Knowledge of the stock. or 2. Recognition by current board Longs (high visibility). Once established the Leader will usually work the Pack members up in to a posting frenzy. Constantly changing themes and even occasionally biting the ear of another pack member (this earns instant credibility), and it doesn't offend the bitten Basher because he/she knows it is all part of the effect. Quite sophisticated.

Packs will disband and slink away without notice. Usually this is the call of the Pack Leader who is adept at recognizing overplay. More often than not, Pack members must move on because they have other Bashing commitments to fulfill. They will return to the site of a good hunt over and over again, until hamstringing is achieved.

What calls a pack together. The Cry of the Leader. Certain Bashers love to work together. They know each others bite, how to feign in and out, it is a well choreographed Bash when pack members have worked together before. They constantly check their "Sites Du Jour" for signs of Pack activity. Occasionally they will throw out a "Nibbler" Bash to see if the pack responds or if not they can work the site themselves. It's all about effectiveness, time and earning money.
