I've invested in a few companies that were bought out, they've never gone like this. I think we're in (almost) uncharted territory. Anything can happen (except the BoD accepting a stupidly low offer).

As I said, companies can be suspended from trading pending an M&A deal. The bids cannot be linked to the share price (from 6 months ago) because it is far too low and would be rejected outright by the BoD.

I do feel that the posters getting over-excited and shouting £5+ aren't doing us any favours. The bashers are grouping us all together, quoting £5 as ludicrous and implying that we are all being ludicrous.

I've done dozens of calculations these last 8/9 months and none of them were as low as 30p, even using the most pessimistic forecasts.

Anorak, ACF said 54-60 conservatively - that means minimum, not maximum as you said.

They didn't include the extra 4M oz the RNS refers to, or the potential additional 21M.

Again, benchmarked against NAP gives 68p before including the extra 25M or WK. I'm confident this will go for a fair bit more than 68p.

Most companies don't have a share price at all because they're privately owned. Offer are still made for them based on a sensible valuation. Companies do NOT just take the latest share price, slap on an extra 25-50% and make an offer.

I'm sorry Bluerill but I don't agree.

Companies can be suspended from trading pending an M&A deal, even if CITIC relationship was clarified (which it hasn't been). It's to stop parties getting an unfair advantage on the open market which they would do if trading commenced 'within the hour'.

Say they put in £10K and leveraged a short of £100K at 3p and we get £1 per share, they would have to pay £3.33M to close, as well as interest. Ouch. I do feel sorry for them if this happens - everyone makes mistakes, but this could be a very costly one.

People were panicking over the nomad a couple of months ago. Did the BoD deliver? Why yes they did.

People are now panicking because the company haven't RNSed the extension to the filing deadline - an extension that has been granted across the board. Why? I agree it would have been nice to see an RNS, but it's not the end of the world.

People are panicking now because we need to resume trading by 11 Feb 2021? Calm down guys.

We will have before any sale 15M oz.
That's 600/2.32x15=£3879M
80% belongs to EUA that's £3103M
90% after fees is £2793M
80% after tax £2234M
Discounted to PV at 8% for 2 years (0.857) for construction = £1915M

Divided by 2.8B shares is 68p per share.

This is the minimum if you benchmark against NAP.

Our costs are about half that of NAP; we have potentially an additional 25M oz in adjacent to the flanks; we have WK; PD prices have gone up. So we should be worth more than 68p.
