Obviously the major holder section of SNG’s website has the most up to date data for those above the 3% threshold.

Morningstar is useful to check every once and a while to see what may or may not be happening below 3%.

Some of the data is old and out of date but the trick is to watch what appears and disappears.

It shows the two AXA funds buying and 31Oct as the date the data was added to the list.

I hadn’t notice the AXA funds in the list last time I checked about a week or so ago.

Likely to get another update soon with data up till 30 Nov so I’ll keep monitoring over the next few weeks.

AXA seem to have bought a sizeable chunk in a couple of their funds. Lots of accumulation happening under the radar across various funds.

You most certainly cannot mix jabs between suppliers since they are fundamentally different technologies.

I imagine for most here by the time it is our turn to have a vaccine there will be 12months+ of experience of them in the first patients.

Currently from what I have read I would prefer the Oxford vaccine to the others.

I’d also like at least a year of patient data before they jab me.

Took some of the table at various points and I’ve been slowly feeding a bit back in on the way down. Never bought above £2 but bought a fair few around the placing price which at the time felt like a steal.

Today’s price is a dream just chipping away as and when funds become available.

My brother in law has been tasked with drawing up the protocols for distribution of the Pfizer vaccine in his region.

It sounds a nightmare if it gets too warm during the thawing process it turns to powder and is unusable. They have been set a target of only 5% wastage of product.

To achieve that low wastage the process will be done on a small scale and very time consuming.

In his words if it wasn’t for the seriousness of the pandemic a vaccine of this type wold be given a wide birth due to the number of hurdles and complexities in the transportation and handling.

Scinv - The MAP is significant but not for the reasons that we first thought.

The MAP is as crucial as the data to receiving EUA or after P3 full approval.

Without the MAP we simply would not meet the criteria to prove we can distribute the drug into the market and we would be desperate for a pharma partner.

With MAP we have a tick in the box on distribution.

Shan - IMO the current situation is a perfect news vacuum for suppression of the share price.

Lots of vaccine news and P3 trial not yet underway.

My guesstimate is P3 starting news towards the end of next week.

I think you then have 4-6weeks where I wouldn’t expect too much movement in the share price.

But then it starts to get interesting with the breadth of this trial it could fill incredibly quickly.

I’m hoping to see a strong recovery towards the end of January.

I think the vaccines will get approval and frankly I hope they do because even if they have a real world efficacy of 30-50% they will still help people.

I do however think the real world efficacy will be much lower then the quoted 90% figures and as the economy opens up in the new year buoyed by vaccine confidence the virus will continue to spread.

Focus has to be on P3 and getting it started ASAP a large strong varied data set is all we need.

@home can come in time and will be of interest to a potential partner.

But P3 hospital is the data that will bring us all the payday.

HarChris - Understood and yes in times of volatility stupid % rises do occur.

HarChris - I would not expect EasyJet or any of the airlines to return to their former share price for many years.

IAG for example have had a huge dilution and are trying to sell memorabilia to stay afloat.

There is still another 6months of pain for the airlines I’m not sure many of them have the balance sheets to cope with that.

Air travel is going to be mega expensive in the future.

Parsley - Agreed it would be nice to build a bit of momentum in the right direction.

News on P3 starting is what I’d like to see within a week.

Parsley - PI’s are suckers for over analysing interviews.

We used to have a very loose lipped CEO at the company I work for he would use phrases that he himself did not fully understand since we are a technical firm and suddenly like wildfire the boards on LSE would whip up a rumour mill and an innocent mistake would become a massive miss truth on the share boards.

We would all laugh about it in the office.

Our new CEO is more careful with his words and is more cautious funnily enough the boards hate this.

So it’s a case of damned if you do dammed if you don’t.

Is it really Synairgens responsibility to advertise the Home Trial I’m sure there are some ethical/ code of conduct hurdles to them plastering the trial advert across all social media platforms.

Even the vaccine trials received very little publicity and relied heavily on those in the know volunteering.

My sister was on the Oxford trial because she was contacted via work channels (NHS)

The HomeTrial really needs the push from the GP’s but they are out of the loop ref covid.

Org - I can see a massive spike in R number after Christmas celebrations, I can also see a massive spike when vaccines start getting distributed and people start relaxing back into normal life.

There is no proof a vaccinated person is not a carrier or transmitter of the virus.

The vaccines are great news but I don’t believe we are out of the woods on this one for a long time and treatments will be vital to mop up the holes the vaccine will never be able to fill.

Org - But the vaccines are not out yet even the manufacturers themselves are saying they won’t make any meaningful difference until Easter next year.

The real proof in the pudding will be winter 2021 to see if the vaccines are helping over extended time periods.

The media has rather got ahead of itself ref vaccines.

Alinz - You can only make the decision that works for you based on your position.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing you took the risk of being out and it has paid off for you on this occasion, assuming you are now back in.

If a hostile takeover bid came in tomorrow AM you’d have egg on your face if you are still out. (Unlikely but possible)

Short term trends grab the bulk of the discussion on these boards because the majority seem to be after turning a quick profit.

Taking a long term view I see no reason to sell since I believe the future price will be multiples of today.
