Off the back of this purchase I’m sticking my neck out I recon company goes into a close period from Monday and RNS due morning 14th Feb.

We’ve considered joining the main exchanges several times but to be honest the benefits don’t outweigh the cons for us at the moment.

There are some gems on aim whilst there are some real turds in the ftse.

The 250 brings with it increased accounting scrutiny you have to report more frequently.

The benefits of being on the main exchanges are not worth it for every company.

The fact they have filled these roles with some big names with a wealth of experience clearly shows the opportunity they have is very compelling.

As an investor I base my decision of of my own research and the leadership of the company which with respect to SNG is exemplary.

I won’t discuss the other company that you mention since I have not researched the slightest bit about them. However you talk about EUA with them yet RM and SNG are ensuring the have positions and building blocks in place to achieve full approval. Go figure!

Mumbo - you clearly failed to understand the @home P2 data.

And it was progressed through to P3 on the activ 2 trial which is outpatient setting so clearly there is a signal that it does something useful in outpatients.

Or do you dispute those facts?

Mumbo - this will be a broad spectrum antiviral in time.

But first it will be approved for use in Covid 19, for patients that are hospitalised and or outpatients experiencing breathlessness.

Which to me seems like the cohort of people that need helping the most and also the cohort of people that insurance companies in America will cater for.

SNG’s use will be broadened in time across multiple viral infections through additional trials etc it will be much easier to do so once approval is granted.

It’s laughable reading some comments on here today. If you invest in the stock market you expose yourself to fluctuations of the undocked due to external factors.

SNG has performed remarkably well compared to these indicted in recent times.

It is clear that not all is rosey in the world and that markets are due a correction specifically the US.

The same people that fail to grasp this are the same people that couldn’t fathom why Polar chose to unwind their position recently.

If you believe a 10% drop or 10% rise for that matter constitutes a leak of information you are deluded.

A 10% drop today has no bearing on trial results. The data is the same today as it was weeks ago.

If you believe in SNG today could well be a buying opportunity.

But be mindful the markets are on weak foundations.

Perhaps read the full set of papers that have recently been published around what you have mentioned it’s a set of 3 not just one.

The quote is valid. The golden question is why does covid effect people differently. These papers help explain why omicron may be more infectious and evidently omicron is bad news for some people. Our trials will tell us if our drug is effective. All research to date suggests our drug likes it when a patient is battling against the virus perhaps due to a poor self generated IFN response.

I think where our government got it wrong was they failed to target their funding & resources on what worked.

Dexa was a great achievement but after that they funded trials that consumed the available candidate pool to trial drugs that those without medical degrees could see had a very low chance of working, they didn’t cull these trials quick enough.

After SNG’s P2 result it is criminal that resources got deflected away from rapidly accelerating a P3 trial.

It was at this point in time that RM and co seemed to give up on the U.K. and focused solely on the USA which was a wise move but at the same time I think all involved are saddened that that had to be the case.

Remember it was originally 900 patients split across 3 regimes.

Through discussion with the FDA it was decided to reduce to 610 and settle on one drug regime.

Note the multi regime was due to the change of nebuliser from P2.

Rest assured the trial design was well thought out and the FDA where involved in approving it.

Axe - or rather the market will only support the excess volume at times of impending news as PI’s buy the rumour.

Polar don’t have the luxury of just exciting whenever they feel like because if the market won’t support the volume the share price will tank. We experienced that with lansdowne, acacia, etc.

Beats me why people get their knickers in a twist over historical information.

The good news is Polar have offloaded their shares in a manner that has caused no real effect to the share price.

Meaning there has been plenty of appetite at this level to absorb the volume.

This is a sign of strengthen in the share price.

As for Polars strategy that will only make sense to them we will never know all the factors in play.

Takeover IMO is still very much a real possibility as is a large licensing agreement.

The moves RM has made continuously throughout the last year have been to strengthen SNG’s hand in any negotiation.

Under EUA rules the central body would be responsible for distribution of drug from one single procurement.

These new roles advertised and creation of the American entity will not come on stream for 6-9months and are required in order to receive full approval.

On full approval SNG would have to deliver drug to market directly rather than via the centralised route.

By investing in the means to do this through those job vacancy, the US entity and the partnership with Ashfield RM is increasing the value of SNG protecting us against a low ball offer.

I believe if the right figure was offered a deal would be struck.
