Clever thoughts....appreciate your comments about the risk of this stock. I am fully invested but do also feel like it is playing with fire...and nervous after the news today. However...I work in the industry...and have worked for BlackRock years ago in an investment team there. I know how they work...the investment desks don't consider investments unless they think they are looking at multiples of their money. So when they went through the Polymetal buy process weeks ago and then bowed to pressure, they thought the stock was worth multiples of where it was then. They also buy well run businesses and Poly is well run, no matter what the personal links are with ICT.

I'm on a bloomberg terminal which is real time. The increase is showing as yesterday with stake now at 10.85% and the latest filing date yesterday. Everyone should know this on this board.

IMPORTANT: BlackRock have increased their position as of yesterday. Looking at bloomberg which shows a position of 53.383mm now....with the latest change being an increase yesterday!!!

Guys...anyone have access to bloomberg? to me it looks like Blackrock (viewing bloomberg right now still has a 10.85% percentage position...with a most recent filing date of yesterday. Am I missing something....or are they still buying because they can't resist this superb opp?

cheers for the responses guys. Jeremy....your comments have been endlessly uplifting for me since coming onto the board a few weeks ago. Agree that maybe never again retail investors will get these opportunities with Poly, Evraz (if we can start trading again) and JP Morgan Russian Trust.

I do feel like the sanctions on Poly would be on by now....accepting that there is still a risk given whom the largest shareholder is.

The G7 blockade doesn't change the thesis one way or other for this business...was just interested to get a feel for short term impact.

Guys...anyone have any first views on potential impact of the G7 blockade on Russia selling gold reserves on Poly? Any impact?
