Pedro. Odessa and Ukraine in general have suffered bombing of infrastructure almost daily for the last month and a bit.

This Company is doing well and has coped so far...another bombing today doesn't just suddenly mean they cannot operate.

and as you say....positive news sentiment will allow for some gains in the meantime. It's a funny holding...

that was my logical thinking on it....however the UK government disaster and their vague guidance do not provide for that kind of preciseness!! always worried that you are just on the whims of Truss et al....crazy to actually read the link from below...the way they sanction people is literally not too dissimilar to 16th century witch trials

Feel pretty comfortable with the risk on this now. Odey and BlackRock - not to mention Orcel the chairman. I think if it was going to be sanctioned it would be by now....however, even if sanctions are somehow applied now I think the Company can deal with it.

Thought yesterday we would be flying very high tomorrow and Tuesday...think the updated news of potential war crimes will dominate tomorrow if I am honest. Just too much negative sentiment right now...and this stock is being driven by sentiment in spite of it's flawless operations.

Of all the Russian opportunities at the moment.....this is the oddest one.

Should be trading 3x where it is...even with the ban of foreigners selling on Moex the market should be looking through that and pricing it more in line with what prices are on the exchange. Very odd.....combined with Lazard redemption it's just going the opposite way for now. With patience I honestly think this will be the best trade of all the Russian opps....it's holdings are flying on Moex.

posted this last night but re-reading equity research reports on 1st march post invasion...just incredible reading. price targets of 1500+, admittance that the company has some of best reserves in world, impressive management, stunning FCF and dividend yield. This was JP Morgan.

Just doing some late night thinking and asking myself why in this incredible opportunity. Access to bloomberg so I have access to all equity research reports. Wanted to share with the board in quick summary. It really is incredible to think that you had all the biggest investment banks following this stock, talking it up so positively and targeting prices of 1500+ pre invasion. JP Morgan's report on the 1st of March after the price had dropped to 259p was especially incredible to read. They price targeted 1400p at that point, obviously being conservative at the time. They spoke of how impressed they were at management delivering on shareholder value and the quality of resources and operations. That report was one of many.

Everyone should try and keep all this in mind...it's easy to let emotions really run away with us and get nervous about intra-day movements. I'm doing it everyday.

Something to think about.

Evraz should be trade of the year if it comes of suspension. FCF machine.

At the time of suspension I was very angry and down....the longer time goes on the more I think suspension was a good thing and actually the FCA might have it right this time. Don't know if your both on the Evraz board but someone posted their reply from investor relations there today saying the company was working through questions from FCA. I think we will be back trading within a month...the fact is the company will be able to answer any questions directly and it is not sanctioned. Should be all good.

Definately interesting with Moex...only insight is that JP morgan russian trust didn't update their NAV in line with Moex as foreign investors can't repatriate...I guess at the moment its just frictions blocking any kind of arbitraging?

Also interesting to hear about how this has taken over others lives...been quite the journey and I have never been so distracted + up/down in terms of mood swings. Can go from deep sadness to euphoria on the way up.

Would like to think we are over the worst of it now...and especially encouraged by some of the buys going in today. Most definitely institutions returning to the table. I think it's just those moments of seeing paper profits and being so tempted to take off the table...but have to be very strict thinking about how pre invasion this stock's consensus target price was 2000+.

Haha I have to also say....Jeremy's posts and comments have been some of the most brilliant things to read over the last few weeks. Had me and my partner in hysterics...just so calm and collected throughout the turmoil. Wish I'd been able to keep so calm but the Evraz suspension ruined mentality.

Jeremy - what are your thoughts on Evraz currently and also what is your inclination vis a vis Moex and US trading today?

Evening all....minded to think that the updating of NAV isn't even so relevant now going forward given the positive news flow politically, in addition to the Moex prices that are flying. Markets will increasingly forward look all this and JP can fck around with NAV as much as they want.

Should be a good ride the rest of the week.

Hello to the EVR board...I've been following since the invasion...and was heavily invested at good average price on the suspension. Never felt so cheated...the biggest joke being that the FCA have ever protected investors! Completely useless authority body and have only proved so once again. Positively...the UK government and FCA don't have a leg to stand on. Only surprised Evraz hasn't pursued the case a little more aggressively. However, maybe keeping quieter suits them right now.

I've always had responses from POLY investor relations...never had any from Evraz, so it's good to know they are to others. I think with the way news is flowing now and RA's involvement in peace talks, we could be back trading within the month. The burden of proof for Evraz shouldn't be too rigorous...a bit of a shame they haven't got a new board together in the same way POLY has.

Definitely think we are still on for a 5-10x bagger here, just a waiting game.

Well done to all here this week...brilliant to see us all benefitting through this stunning performance and consistent flow of good news. Happy to admit I'm pained by the nerves I've shown buying and selling after being nervous about sanctions still on Friday and the Moex listing...alas that's life!!

Just an FYI...on bloomberg I can see blackrock is continually updating their position. Honestly don't understand how the financial press isn't onto them! Probably so corrupt that they make sure it's covered up. Institutional's will be turning on the taps now and this stock should be on a one-way rollercoaster!

guys i'm bullish on this business. stop criticizing people for stuff like selling out before a weekend and profiting some gains while being nervous about risk. it's a risky opportunity and people are entitled to their opinions. I don't think this stock is going to fly to 250 on Monday...although in the long run I think 2000 is reasonable if a few things go right. I love the business...it's just being trashed through no fault of its own and it's at the mercy of our completely useless government. I saw them f*ck up the Evraz situation...just being cautious.

Yes I'm aware they have always had a listing there....to me it's pretty bloody different when we are a month on after the exchange has been closed and the geopolitical situation is at its worst. I mean they sanctioned a step daughter of foreign minister who was a student in London and completely inconsequential, just for basically being who she was. A business on the LSE who is also listing on the Moscow exchange is a bit more tangible than a 20-year-old something Russian girl living in London. It's all about optics at the moment and I just don't think this is ideal.
