One of the few things in finance which is pretty much non-arguably a brilliant thing. A business owner putting his money where his mouth is. He knows the growth potential...he knows what the M&A multiples are across the industry for podcast businesses...if he wanted to not risk his money and was worried about prospects of business...he wouldn't be writing out his cheque book every day almost. I honestly can't think of a signal that is more encouraging...it is just a screaming buy signal.

Expecting yet another RNS on Monday. This is massively oversold and even pre any buyout it is only going North.

high multiples an shift from growth to value are not driving this stock with due respect. it's the prospect of a takeover at a high revenue multiple based on other fairly recent transactions that took place during a tech sell off at high revenue multiples. boom is the only player in the space turning a profit along with spectacular growth rates....

there is just a different set of drivers here right now and now we know the drop was due to the sells disclosed yesterday.

was about to also say.....Serco generally have a dreadful reputation. They are not a liked company at all and had to bring Soames on board to do the complete revamp. Even with him their reputation suffered through track and trace...so yeah, I suggest getting your facts straighter AIM.

AIM...all those facts are true...but come on you've almost just made the entire argument against yourself. Serco is in a fantastic place now....and the share price potential is probably quite limited now...certainly not a bagger. I don't read too much into broker forecasts, but they also reflect that - even with good structural tailwinds!

The whole point of investing and joy of it is to get the big upside....Capita on the other hand has all of that to go with its recovery. Share price in the doldrums but have completed a restructure and are ready to go. Could it not work out? Perhaps...But it's not what Marathon and RWC think (no one can argue that they are not two of the most exceptional managers in town).

We can all point to a myriad of companies who have all the nice attributes...unfortunately thats a crap investment strategy as there is always limited upside.

Completely able to put my hands up and say I made the completely wrong call in terms of market reaction today Johnny...not afraid to admit!! I honestly thought it was going to tank...but held up fantastic and I got back in at 147ish (that isn't meant to be a boast!!). It was a stupid move selling and I read it wrong....I think the RNS seemed just a big wooly and pessimistic. Bad discipline from myself.

Your spot on....in fact it's pretty sad to see what goes on. Look at THG, Alphawave when they released results etc. It's completely rigged against PI's...only way to win long term is holding businesses like Centralnic in my honest opinion. It'll come good...best of luck : ).

Completely agree...it is absolutely rigged for this stock. Unbelievable. However...just remember that fair value is multiples of where we are now.

the general wording of the RNS was as important as the contract win.....the comment about the large amount of secured revenue for FY22 was key...very encouraging. Wording in these RNS's is important like that.

Unlike Petrofac where there RNS today made clear recovery will be FY23, I'm minded to think Capita's market update and half year numbers (June and August, respectively) should be good.

hey board....look at serco's results today...! not a perfect read across but certainly encouraging!

I somehow managed to get out at 152...first time I've ever been lucky. Want to get back in as growth story here still good...but I have to admit I was spooked by the statement. Was wooly and not confident in my honest opinion. Half year will obviously be poor...can see this moving down progressively back to 120-ish. Very underwhelmed as felt so confident about this position.

exception to that is news of a contract win....otherwise I agree!

good on you making the trade...fact is there is potential here for this to go very right. I don't have the appetite to enter pre-results coming out but will be keeping an eye on it all...

with all due respect Pablo....this company raised money last year.

think a potential raise here seems very unlikely....would be expensive for them and also they have a ton of cash on the balance sheet

It's a good point....they would pretty much have to release anything devastating.

One of the more panglossian views could be that the auditor is unwilling to sign off because the FCA has been so unclear around guidance etc...so hard for them to estimate provision numbers etc for claims...

I don't know the answer but very interesting...

Eeeeek...bloody glad I haven't purchased here and held off. I think all bets are off here unfortunately....this will drop to below 1 penny before results come out either way. Maybe a chance of recovery of post results but seems unlikely now...

Feel for people holding this...the way the company have treated investors is disgraceful. As to someone else's comment...Amati etc definately got this info pre-released. Disgraceful.
