In fairness...I don't think the company has treated shareholders badly. I hold the long position as think the FT article was overly negative and the company have responded to it. They have released solid semi-annual results and Q3/4 updates which don't go through a full audit and were good.
There isn't much the company could have done apart from respond to the FT article. The reassurances given as part of their acquisition update were solid also. And my view is they could not lie about the KPMG delay...if that was a lie they would have been outed already, they simply could not release that statement if it wasn't true.
I don't rely on investment bank research but all the banks are long on this with big price targets. I quoted from the Jefferies report below on this board which was written on day of the accounting delay.
Anyway, I am always open to being wrong, so will see tomorrow I guess.
