Surely what we all need is informed comment, +ve or otherwise.

Never mind revenue earning. What we need to know is at what point the co becomes cash generative.

It's the mealy mouthrf rhetoric in the RNS that annoys almost as much as the placing.

So a placing with " existing and new strategic, institutional and sophisticated investors " is going to " facilitate additional liquidity to the ASX quotation". Yeah, right. Either these are LT holders, or they are flippers who add liquidity (read:selling pressure). They can't be both.

Extremely lucky I held off addnl buying, and that I am in the blue even at 20p. But it still stinks. i had intended to ne a LT holder here, but will eassess that timeframe. That doesn't mean selling at these prices, of course, but it means a more active approach to my holding.

Great job of collapsing the SP, letting instis in cheap, shagging existing holders. Oh, and a nice pre raise interview to pump the SP just b4 collapsing it.

BUT.....ST of IC has a target of 35p "at least" from 2 months ago, and he is not paid by the company to say so. He has a reasonable record of hitting his targets, tho obvs not 100%.
All smallcap non rev earners are being sold off atm, the good as much as the dross. MTR is not the latter, tho i expect every share bb is saying "this one is different".

It has been removed bcos it was OT, and I reported it as such. I get really fed up with BBs full of clutter. It's an investment BB, not FB.

I attach the BMJ's article on Innova tests. It is a brief one, which sums up well the bafflement of all as to why the govt is persisting with tests that have been declared useless by the US FDA. We are spending £Bs on useles tests, when there is a reliable alternative produced by UK companies, Avacta among them.

The obvious concern is that inaccurate tests are forming the basis on isolation decisions, but there is also the growing concern that contract awards look arbitrary and unfounded in either science or financial rigour, feeding the sleaze story.

I hope you share my concern that this is damaging to public health, to the public purse, to the reputation of the UK, and to the once good name of your party.

if this drifts any further I shall be doubling my holding as a ST trade. Chronicle's Simon Thompson had a ST target of 35p, and it ran up to 32p ish on the back of that.

Only +ve news since yet we are back at 24.5 to buy ; i expect Simon o update again before too much longer, now the licence on T3 is granted. He may wait for news of Sandfire's financing packageot FID, but that can't be far away.

I share your hope, but that butters no parsnips.

Imv the long wait to see a flare is worrisome ; otoh we know a previous test flowed unexpected liquids when they were set up for gas only., so things have flowed in the past and should flow now. It is a nervous time, and this will either knock it out of the park or be the last straw for credibility here. Fingers crossed the former.

With all Covid rules abolished it would be interesting to turn up to the AGM and demand admission, on what legal grounds could they refuse?

i am not forecasting st Sp movements. OC ppl make money gambling on zombie stocks. Nor am i much impressed by the deal - bholders are clearly screwing sholders, tho that was predictable. Whether anyone chooses to mute me is no concern of mine. And if you think I am "exercised" by this, you are mistaken. Just baffled, really.

There is a tiny chance the well cleans up, flows better, and all's well with the world. But I've seen no evidence, yet, that that is likely; and much evidence to the contrary.

I was invested here for years, and rarely look in now. I met the BoD, went to AGMs, ead the reports, attended the presentations, talked to fellow imvestors. In short, I knew, and likely still know, a lot more about the co than most here.

But it depresses me to see such misplaced optimism, such ignoring of fact in favour of bile at the BoD and a level of deluded groupthink which is serrving no one any good.
I know realism is never welcome at the Church of False Gods, so I won't stay long, or return often. But just occasionally, i might try to puncture the balloon of false imaginings here.
