Unfortunately it looks like the shorters are getting their way this morning so far. Holding onto gains seems to be problematic for MRO and as it's still only at 450ish, so that's disappointing. Surely, there's significantly more to come here! What we need is a proper breakout.

Thanks for sharing your insight, Carrington. Unfortunately I just added at 434! I always go too soon. I do think the shorts are dragging this down however they do that but they're certainly destroying any prospect here if a decent rise it seems. Would love to see them burn 🥵

At what point will you add, Carrington? It is a bit disconcerting though that the direction of travel is seemingly always downward usually after a brief rise. I hope this annoying trend can reverse at some stage. Might add more myself.

I'm holding but the lack of any sales news is disappointing. Just one RNS announcing that the much vaunted 500MW deal is progressing to FID would get this moving! It's the lack of tangible progress that creates the doubts, which let's be honest we all have, but patience and faith will hopefully pay off one day soon!🤞🙏

No it won't! Something's killing all the banks. Could it be as simple as house prices dropping? After all the bullish commentary from analysts it's very annoying particularly after seemingly very good Q1 results!

Extremely disappointing SP reaction. Looks like all banks are getting hammered. The market is perverse. Let's hope NW produce good results otherwise we're all sunk.

Pretty negative on Green hydrogen. According to the article it's still too expensive and with the possibility of White hydrogen being extracted in large volumes it could be a further negative for electrolysers like ITM. Is the dream fading?

Well done, Carrington you should be rewarded. Disappointing SP performance so far but I guess there's still time for it to respond to the very positive update if not today then soon. I think it's a case of selling the news not just here but at 2 of my other holdings, Barc and Pru who both announced good Q1 results today and yet their SPs are also struggling. Maybe I'm a jinx! 🤔

Trump's tariffs have actually benefited the investment banking arm due to the frenzied trading. Great results. Onwards and upwards 🤞

Update. 2025 full year profit still predicted to be £700 million with free cash flow greater than £100 million and that's despite tariffs. Let's hope we get a positive market response!

Down she goes! Would be great if this could hold onto gains, for once. I guess the largish short positions are curtailing any meaningful upward movement. Frustrating 😡

I wish they were but they're not, according to Tracker UK anyway. Looks like they're going to stick around like a bad smell. They've already succeeded in dragging the price down to near on 30. I guess we'll be back in the 20s shortly. It's hard work here but let's hope the years of collective patience pays off one day 🙏

JP Morgan raises from 950p to 1000p and Morgan Stanley cuts from 980p to 960p but both give an overweight rating! I think these forecasts would've been much higher if it wasn't for the trade war but it's still positive. Hopefully we can finally achieve one of these target prices in the near future. They can't keep saying it if they don't mean it!

But as ever the price is coming down so the shorters no doubt will be ok as always. They've killed this share as they do with so many good companies. Really disappointing to see this retreating after such a great RNS. What will it take to get this heading north and staying there?
