Would be nice to get an upgrade! JP Morgan's cut to 600p from 850p is annoying but hardly a disaster given they still rate Melrose as overweight. I'd settle for 600p atm but if the tariff turmoil gets settled, I can see these recent downgrades being reversed. We're currently at a low base so hopefully onwards and upwards from here. 🤞

With the announcement of a 30% hike in revenue, one wonders why the expected EBITDA figure was not raised also. Maybe the accountants amongst us can explain that one. I'm guessing if it had been altered upwards, the SP would now be much higher. I must confess to being a tad disappointed that we're still in the low 30s after what was almost transformational news, yesterday. It's all looking much better though so hopefully the gains will come.

If this can break £2.80, £3 plus comes into play in double quick time! 🤞

Has increased by 30% so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect an initial 30% increase in the SP, so hopefully we'll get to around 37p today!

Is this going back to £5 plus? I reckon it could happen this week once the Trump bashing media settles down. There's all to play for here with expanding civil and military aircraft fleets worldwide. The current price is artificially low in my opinion.

With the pound creeping up nicely against the dollar folks will be flocking stateside this summer. I know I will! Ignore the anti Trump rhetoric in the media. People will always travel to places where they see good value to be had. The weaker dollar also helps with fuel costs. All good for IAG.

In here! Pru making a nice recovery despite the macro issues around tariffs etc. Could China be about to stimulate its domestic consumption to move away from the current heavily export orientated economy? If so Pru would be an obvious benefactor of such a move although I'm not sure a totalitarian regime would want to take the chance of enriching its people to the extent that they might get ideas above their station! In any case it's good to see the SP recovering. Glad I bought in again albeit with a smaller holding.

Seemingly more buys than sells yet down she goes. One wonders if this is capable of rising beyond 430p and staying there. It doesn't look like it, unfortunately. I've never known a share that makes impressive gains only to give most or all of them back in short order. Is it being manipulated?

It's proving hard work though, Fizz. This morning's downgrade by RBC, albeit to £6.50 and still overweight, will not have helped. Downgrades never do. I guess lots of patience required here. Frustrating!
