Hopeso… At no point did I mention the accounting or the content of the article for that matter, I referred to the date in which it was published so please refrain from assuming what I was referring too. The reason I mentioned that the articles were dated back in June and we are now in July was simply to imply that the current scenarios being played out with TCG were as fast paced as the current share price movements, we have clearly received several offers, I await the outcome.

Thank you for the update on TCG being able to advise on the potential sale in a closed period.

WhiteNight and Boraki, I to wish they would put out some info but I have been advised due to being in a Closed Period prior to Q3 results they are unable to update at the moment. Who knows, perhaps they will update and I am wrong, I will be quite happy if shorters are caught off guard.

Hopeso, I agree its great to get a balanced view but when Thomas Cook advise "we are not going bust" when the banks and major investors advise "We are backing TCG" When suppliers advise "we are backing TCG" and when offers are coming in from no less that at least 7 companies I do not find it a balanced view when Cloudy Mountain types in the subject line "Going Bust". I hope that clarifies my position. :)

I am simply drawing the conclusion based on facts that across the board over many airlines (both inclusive and non inclusive) have received greater passenger numbers this year. I didn't think that would cause an issue resulting in you trying to draw a comparison to a totally unrelated industry.

In case anyone missed it, July 5th 2019 - IAG traffic in June, measured in revenue passenger kilometres, increased by 6.3 per cent versus the same period last year.

Wizz as shown below increased by a whopping 19%!

TCG currently in a closed period prior to results next Thursday should hopefully deliver result some where in between these two.

Not sure if any of you look at charts but the chaikin money flow is a huge sea of green at the moment with money flowing in to buy Thomas Cook shares, very powerful indicator that the tide is turning.

That’s fine that you don’t trust them, that’s your opinion, but be mindful they are in a closed period leading up to results and that’s why they are quiet - no other reason. Q3 looking good with other airlines at the moment so now could be the best time to buy.

MasaiMara I did point out below in a recent post today that Thomas Cook Group are in a closed period leading up to Q3 results they are not allowed to divulge any information prior to the 18th July. After that I am sure we will get lots of information.
This Thursday other airlines give their Q3 results, if good then perhaps TVG’s will be as well.

TCG are in a closed period in the run up to Q3 and that is why all is quiet, just sit tight, airlines have been report good Q3 results, there is no reason why we wont, after Q3 we will likely hear something. its a week to wait for TCG with more news this week from other airlines as discussed below.

CloudyMountain, clear the cloud from your eyes mate, it takes approximately 5 days for us to see the latest short revisions so the shorts may well have closed this week but we might not actually see that until Friday or early next week if they have closed today for example.
