RE: Bristol Energy IS bleeding money10 Aug 2020 07:44
I said this would go down based on the last financials and many ripped into me when it was 90p last week, now it’s 70p, this is a bad acquisition of a company that is not making a profit, this will take years to turn around not months and so expect the share price to dip again in my opinion it’s 50p on the cards.
I wonder if the VAT deferral is what is making the cash flow potentially higher than what it could be? Make sure you read the RNS properly not just the cream on the top.
Financial results from this year show they have deferred VAT, this will need to be paid at some point.
Cash position and liquidity
The Group has cash available, with £10.9m cash at bank at 31 March 2020 and a further £6.1m in cash collateral.
UK Government announcements related to the deferral of VAT, and potential financing, provides additional comfort, and the Group also has certain other commercial levers to manage its liquidity over this period of uncertainty.
Yes, there is always at least one who tries to keep a level head and doesn’t just read the glossy bits in the RNS. In the previous RNS YU. clearly stated they were not paying their taxes, I wonder if this is included within their current cash flow? Tax will need to be paid I wonder what this makes the cash flow look like then? Many are expecting a second wave of COVID if that happens we were going in to lock down, again these are facts not fiction read the RNS group revenue is down 20%
Turnover up 9%! Profit up 26%! Trading even further increased during March as a result of more people being home and want musical instruments during these dark times, this share could be a very safe haven as an investment during the coronavirus. Great to see G4M back in super profit with more cash in the bank.
You don’t make comments in an RNS as detailed below unless you are expecting your best trading period (Xmas) to be anything less that phenomenal! Looking extremely forward to the next RNS.
“boohoo group plc, a leading online fashion group, is pleased to confirm that since its half year end, trading has remained strong across its key brands with a record performance across the Black Friday weekend.”
“Both warehouses have had a strong operational performance”
“The group continues to trade comfortably in line with market expectations”
