Talks with apple and amazon and recyclers.

Saying 2030 demand is 30k an annum. Current plan in dfs is 1k, they would like 10pct or 3k capacity in long run. Ceo chipping in that one day could see interest in listing it separately ( that would be a lovely cash out).

One thing they not is not issue in takeoff, more in getting consistent and quality supply. I always say capturing the supply is key as this is the real barrier to entry.

Fingers crossed we can flog songwe and then lock in the good supply in multiple locations.

If you drag your heels and others get the supply your tech does not matter.

I did follow the old company. Not sure I'd they sue for this.

My observation was despite alot of chat they never turned a profit. Their crown jewel was pure white marble ( used in high profile mosques). I think I found annual reports for a competitor and they did not make much ( need to query via name of marble..cannot remember).

If they are claiming for lost profits I would be a it suspect because they operated and never gained traction.

Some old random thoughts. I once held fox but sold when it became clear they could mine the marble but not really generate sales.

BTW, does anyone have any good idea for trump trades? So far my best idea was to look at rare earths because everytime we usa attack China they restrict them. Gallium, antimony etc

I think the biggest impact of trump will just be instability he creates and how it supports gold.

My personal hope is gold can stay where we are for 1 year. Then we have 18m of gold over 2500/oz, and maybe some argument to use 2000/oz in our forward curve :).

Most of our npv will be created in first few years ( due to Hugh discounting on future years). If we can lock in high gold prices in the short term I think it has to be good for us.

Also if gold stays high for another year gold producers might really rerate which will also support our claim

CMA just need to make a resolution to stop talking, pull the trigger and let the companies start solving the issue.

Be bold. 100m usd gets you an equivalent cotec project worth 260m or 500m depending on scenario.

With 100m you could easily get debt at 60/40 and get 2 cotec equivalent projects.

We can afford to sell the mine cheap, because the cash can prove commercialisation of tech. Once it is shown to work, lots of money will flow our way and we could have huge growth. After sometime you would probably flog the tech to a big player in the recycling space who has the connections.

Not all npv positive projects are that economic. If you invest alot, you will make a large npv number in absolute terms. However the return on what you invested can be low.

Npv is an absolute measure

I think the mine really has value to others, we just have better options from recycling. Lower Capex, less country risk, higher IRR. The business is also less sensitive to commodity prices as scrap moves with the commodity price. Also a huge runway if we can make omit work.

Selling the mine is a no brained. Mining is a really tough business!

It seems to be the dfs was performed when prices are higher than the forcast prices today.

Cortec indicate 125m usd to maybe make 500m usd npv at forecast prices

Songwe was 300m plus to make 550m.

Seems to me recycling is just a better use of capital. Given we are also a small cap, being able to expand in a modular way will be far less dilution than having to stump up maybe 40pct of 300m

I think the mine can just be sold for what we can get, because recycling has a much better ROI
