So for their investment they get 15pct of case. If they spent the same amount of money to buy the whole company they would have 100pct of case plus the mining assets.

One strange thought. Are small tarrifs better than big. The more our cost competitiveness can come to the front the better. Allows you to lock in supply.

If everyone gets a high price then costs matter less and you need to fight more for feedstock.

The company is trying to sell a shovel ready project. Prices are depressed so they might just get a couple of multiples of market cap in cash. However, this would allow them to kick off the recycling business. Could be massive as recycling looks cheaper than primary production, without all the issues of country risk and reliance on chinese tech for processing.

I agree with funding situation in usa. My real hope is that mka can land the sale first before they get grants.

Either way you probably make money ( mka or cotec) timing is everything

We would need an Indian listing. As time goes on more people will become familiar with this space.

Sidenote:Keep an eye on tarrifs. I think it could really impact some areas. Trump is now noting it might be in some targeted sectors...research time!

I think cotec is a good stock. I just see mkango having a faster way to get some cash in the door for development ( sale of mine) and take away the dilution question. That is why I prefer it, really the only reason.

Check out the tax credits. Maybe cotec will factor these in, and then probably they will get the carbon credits as well.

I also like cotec. They do need to keep issuing shares to keep funding their studies etc. Apart from that I think they are brilliant

It sounds like usa have revised their tax breaks around critical minerals. Previously I think It was only against costs of production and ignored feedstock. Now it incorporates cost of feedstock and has no withdrawal profile if it is critical minerals related

Amazing to see directors simply bleed a company dry. They promised to build an operation, went quiet. Invest funds in other companies and keep drawing down big salaries while doing nothing.
