My key point is that we should not think others will not innovate. In something like this you need to go hard early. If you have an advantage, push it, lock in supply and offtake. Once you have this it is tougher for new entrants. They really need a materially cheaper process because they need to convince your partners to change their feedstock supply

If we prove production in the UK, I do not fear dilution at all. You need to get on with it and block out others

There is capital available in the americas for the recycling story. It does make you think we should be based there to tap it.

Maybe there will be lots of interest in the UK, but so far the market has seemed uninterested. Even ARM had to list in USA because tech is valued higher there.

If you put a tarrif on imports, the domestic production not subject to the tarrif becomes more attractive. The idea is people substitute from imports to local production.

If you do nothing, local producers have no incentives to start production as they cannot initially compete

If we complete the SPAC and cotec pull the trigger on the USA operation I am not sure I see any value being on a uk exchange.

The country at most risk of conflict on rare earths is the USA due to foreign policy. Their investors will feel most impacted and also their government most incentivised to act.

If tarrifs come, it will increase the sale price in usa. Europe will probably not follow the same line.

Just makes sense to me to be where the action is.

If they will give 100m for mines and processing, I would just move all the assets over and ditch aim

Clearly aim cannot value the assets so simply why bother. The USA is putting much better valuations on these businesses. One competitor that is private sucked up 53m usd in a series B, so clearly they are also willing to fund.

What reason do we have for staying on a rubbish exchange. Ultimately if you sold the company the yanks will pay the biggest money, especially that one of the biggest drivers is the USA expansion. Also if anyone is going to make this a hot topic it is trump, so we need to be where those impacted by his actions invest

the release date for claim with soc is quite normal.

we probably had an npv number back in feb 2024. however the gov made progress with the auction, so we just waited which is logical.

if there is a chance to use the auction result in our claim, why would you not wait and see if the result?

we could submit 1bn early, the auction implies 2bn. we look like an ****, because once you say 1bn to a court they are probably not going to accept a bigger value.

i believe the auction was very useful ( confirms mining license can be given, interest in deposit, valuation etc), releasing a big claim could have derailed it. the only benefit would be to give us investors some info a bit earlier - that does not help the case

Realising the money from songwe may be the start of our value curve, but there is really something to be said for American entrepreneurship. Get an idea, get cash and go for it. The impact of the early dilution will be replaced by a hyper growth story.

I hope the spin out really allows us to make more aggressive plans and even float those ideas in the usa.

The reality is in the usa they back things with cash and move fast. One competitor raised 50m usd in series c.

If we don't want to get left behind and let competitors suck up the feedstock, maybe listing the recycling business also makes sense. You could imagine it has been discussed in some form.

If trump slaps tarrifs or we get retaliation, the advisors might just say SPAC it and cash in while the sector is hot.

Very happy we started to look to investors in the states; sadly the uk is pretty useless for backing tech/new ideas.

There is alot of excitement about the spin out.

But the DFS changed my view completely. Even a worst case scenario is good. raising equity of 40m usd, no grants, no nasdaq listing and just replicating the cotec plan in Europe with some debt.

When your worst case scenario does not bother you, that is when you have a good stock.

For me everything onto is just icing on top.

My key event is not the spin out, just seeing the initial start up in the UK and proving the business model. If that is fine we will male some good money in some form

I think the reaction is fine. The letter is non binding.

My focus is just on US policy, anything aggressive with US vs China and there will be interest in our asset. To get a listing we just need uncertainty and there is alot being generated ( more than you could really wish for)

I am not sure how accurate these free tools are. DD noted they were very busy on facebook but their lines have reduced by about 30pct from pre xmas peak.

This is a SPAC what we have now is just a vehicle. This is being organised by a professional financial firm. Nothing to worry about

This is a key person on X who follows. He does tens to see the upside strongly so male your own view on how bullish you want to be.

He said he was one of larger uptakers of recent placing. He is in at lower price with warrants so your entries and views can differ.

What he says makes sense to me, I always tend to be more pessimistic

We are actually left researching.nasdaq admission criteria. They could just slip in that public info in an interview saying they cannot say more but this is implied.

A company saying it always has more credibility than retail investors working it out.
