If I held it I would just see if the spin out completes. If it does this goes massively up you make a huge gain at 0 risk. Why give up that upside.

You can have a good idea but it just does not react. Then one day you make 200pct in 6m.

The hardest thing is staying in it. This is probably why people go for microcaps with warnings and growth runways. You get that positive confirmation of the trend making it easier.

The challenge here is to do nothing

I had a big change of heart about investing style this week. I spent a week chasing around analysing and filtering RNS each AM and reflected why am I putting in this level of effort.

Personally it just did not fit with my lifestyle

There Is also the idea that as holders we are kidding ourselves. I think we are just not playing the normal aim gain or fast money.

We see value, we know we will get there, if someone tells me I need to wait 1yr or 2yr to make 100 to 300pct fine. I can hold the position and get on with my life.

Sure there is an optimal way to trade and make more. But for me the projected return is all I need for my lifestyle and is market beating

Honestly this is not really the AIM share to trade news. If you look at 10 stocks you will find 3 with catalysts. Drill results, financing agreements etc.

Yes we have a SOC but the value is in the intrinsic award.

The benefit here is being overlooked. We are not having to monitor the news each am looking for the new hot thing to buy in 1 hr. Also we are not running around worrying what trump does.

The beauty is big implied returns that are agnostic to current events
