The issue of switching customers is something I still am trying to get my head around.

If they have a leakbot then they can offer a discount on the policy to retain them as they are lower risk.

I am asking for a cohort analysis to see how retention works.

My take is in April cotec were talking about the Conservative way 1 plant first, see it works then 2 and 3 over time.

Something changed because if is now. Announce 2nd hub this year and 3rd next year.

Key thing for me is this

Year 1. Lower margin as pay for unit

Year 2. Great margins as unit paid for

Question is who keeps insurance with one provider for 2+ years.

This still needs answering via a cohort analysis.

I have suggested that cotec and mkango do a joint presentation.

There are likely many mkango investors who are not getting all these key updates because they are not following cotec in detail.

Talking about announcing 2nd hub next year, and maybe 3rd.

Financing will be debt and maybe selling small stake in hub.

IMHO All non European and NA operations will be JV.

You need people who are local and know how to do business and are established.

So I personally do not worry about issues with plants in india, Japan or elsewhere.

I actually think the recent announcement are pretty important.

It is very clear the gov wants hydrogen and this process makes it cheaply. Add some graphite and ammonia to it and they are hitting lots of points.

Another key thing is they will stockpile prior to the plant being commissioned. Its probably worth their while because the corners of HDD extracted from inserma are small.

When cotec go to finance the plant they can point to a stockpile of feedstock. If a few other do this they will be happy

The indication from cotec they see a path to have enough supply over time for multiple hubs derisks alot for me.

This is a real partnership and even just one usa plant I usa is a big deal.

I hope so as well. One plant is 360m vs their 65m.market cap.

I would imagine they will want at least 500m usd value for their share.

If they are targeting hdd successfully it seems low risk for them. Usa has 10x data centers of uk or Germany.

If u have the patience which we have. Waiting a bit of time to bag is not hard ( compared to playing the market each day)

Once we get to 20pct I think I sell.

I just then find the next one priced at 2pct and ride it to 20pct.

Personal strategy

I think patience is the key in these things and also choosing which risks you take for each bit of reward

My point is if you can 4x+ taking little risk.

Why then make the final trade for maybe max 4x and take risk. When you can find another and make the 4x a different way
