In regards today's WHOPPING 2 - 3 % retrace I am not going to wet my pants worrying about that.
We (and wider a lot of markets) pushed further ahead than should have Monday/early Tuesday on basically zero news. First vaccine targets were met, we had known this likely for weeks.
We have since saw correction of that over reaction.
It was, what two/three weeks ago we were low/mid 60's!?
Skipped through 70's and threatened to do so with 80's also, this has been "corrected" some yesterday afternoon and today.
Look at 3 month chart, it's essentially been a continuous steady rise which has seen us near double in that period from mid 40's to where we sit now.
If we see HALF that growth in next 3 months I will be very happy, and think most should.

That's reasonable and about what I thought, sub 1000 cases per day before real lifting of restrictions.
Would expect to want double digit deaths per day rather than most/high 3 digit daily deaths also.

There's the not so small matter that the article doesn't once mention CINEMAS .

I would also like to repeat that in regards success or failure of Cineworld and its return then the UK is fairly minor.
It is (almost) all about the USA and in particular those couple of big states!!

Banking crisis 07/08 SP halved and took until second half 2010 to recover to pre crash levels.
Not an exact match of circumstances I know....but.

The happy clappers would shoot me if I said in Cine board, but personally don't see it.
Will be happy if proved very wrong.
SP was, what c. £2 start last year pre covid.
Business now has c. $1bn more debt to finance and as yet none of us know how soon it will reopen and once reopen the flow of movies and levels of attendance.
Feel reasonable Mooky will steer it back onto smoother waters and further success, just feel we may need patience to see the big numbers.
He can't really be seen to get his LTIP award just for opening the business back up and within a few months of its implementation.
Think I previously looked back at last major fall on shares and while it recovered it wasn't "boom" in a few months.
