On an expected "allowed" date for cinemas to be able to open again in the UK alone I do not expect a company RNS.
I can't see Cineworld opening UK only, so we are now awaiting 2 things as we have been for some time
These are confined movie release dates and ability to open nationwide and on particular NY and is it California the other big one!? in the USA.
Today's news fits well from this side I feel.

Couple issues with your statement.
1. Boris and all others directly asked on matter have stated several times announcement will have EARLIEST dates things can happen depending on meeting criteria. So don't expect things to be brought forward on lockdown levels being lifted.
2. Latest 7 day rolling ave. for vaccine is just under 400k/day and although we have had over 500k in a day we have not been above 450k rolling average at any point (to date).

32m in top 9 cohorts and c. 18m done..
So c.14m to go plus some early first jabs due in next few weeks.
Be surprised if we reach this in less than 28 days.
Government currently saying mid April from previous target end April.

Sky links seem to give nothing materially different from what I think most have expected for a never of weeks now.
Schools first and slightly more outdoors activity and contact.
Not sure anything more could realistically have been expected for March.
Not repeating mistake of throwing doors open to hospitality for Easter (was it May bank holiday last time!?) I think plays well for the wider plan and selfishly for us invested here may well work in favour of a cinema opening schedule that otherwise could well have been much later due to allowing pubs and holidays too soon and at a peak time.
Waiting c.3 weeks between each additional stage has also been well documented for some time now as that's roughly what's needed to see what effect each move has made on the transmission, hospitalisations, deaths.
No quick return to international travel is also a good thing.

Just been watching this on sky news and indeed good news government plan to bring forward to end July all adults 1st vaccine.
Also mentioned bringing over 50's to mid April, still not end March but apologies in advance if indeed all done by end March.
Earlier the better especially in older groups, once over 70's also all had second jab then we should be in MUCH better position .
Understand the caution now though as we are still a long way from levels when we relaxed lockdowns last summer.
Cases still at last April peak numbers as I understand.

You and I have disagreed more than once, but I 100% agree regards need for everyone to make efforts of a healthier lifestyle (diet and exercise choices).
For years now the government has been weak on this message and even given this "opportunity" they have still failed.
We all have our viewpoint on covid, it's reporting, numbers of deaths etc.
However I think it is pretty clear that few "healthy" individuals have died from this so far.
Age the biggest factor then a number of other u healthy life choice related underlying conditions has seen majority of deaths.

It's not the BBC that collate the excess deaths data, use any number of other sources that confirm excess deaths in last year have been collosal.
Being a covid denier is not going to change share price for anyone so see little point in debating something there is no serious debate on.

Regardless of how we "prefer" to measure it the UK record is awful and covid HAS taken far too many lives.
It really is far from the picture of someone gets knocked down by a bus, but knew of someone that had mild symptoms of covid once so they too get recorded as covid death.
As excess deaths measure also confirms and there has been much coverage of this for those that don't want to be blinkered.

27 + 28 Jan was the very first time over 80 since last June. This was a false breakthrough on rails of the GME and AMC Reddit crowd.
So understandably the price settled back to where it was trending up from.
Nudged 80 on 1st and 8th this month briefly.
This week again it crossed 80 and approached high 80's infact again on false market euphoria of no actual news (UK met first vaccine target as had been expected for some weeks)
That was Monday and early Tuesdays action.
AGAIN this rightly corrected some and settled over Wednesday/Thursday and today we see ourselves back to about the range we would expect following the last 3 MONTHS trend.
We may well go below 80 again especially if Mondays roadmap shows much later openings.
That withstanding however the price has been trending up and to talk of not holding over 80 is silly.
