As you say I also post good factual and informative posts so I am not always negative.
Yes, I can I am sure appear negative to some, but I see no value in people on one hand slating the "derampers" for some of their posts and then with the next breath posting equally nonsense stuff on the widely optimistic side and make out all superior.
Extended summer in Scotland this year that's been 3 sunny days rather than usual 2 ;-)

Yes, had UK and USA taken thing serious to start, or even learnt from 1st **** ups no second lockdowns we would have a share price well on its recovery path and less debt burden.

If there are people paid to bash/deramp a stock then I would see no reason to think that there are not also people paid to talk up/ramp a stock.
It is the only logical conclusion.

I enjoyed it sammy, and others in screening seemed to also I think.
It's hardly worth commenting at times over there now.
Find some of the holders worse than the 1 post deramp wonders now.

Hey lads just back from Cruella later showing.
I really enjoyed it, visually fab and great soundtrack.
Certainly better than some of the gash over on the other BB.
G/F dumped no good to me she wanted to share my sweets but not hers and expected me to pay for stuff.

smalltrader I mean the share price in general has been/is suppressed by fact it's levels of debt.
I don't mean 92p v £1:24.
It has been widely talked about in a great many articles.
It is there for any half educated person to see and read in the companies accounts.
Do you honestly think if we had essentially the exact same company but with little/zero debt we would be sitting at the levels we have been over the last year!?

I am invested here so it's not putting me off, I am honest enough to recognise the reality though.

Not sure the value of other holders of this share getting hyper defensive when anyone mentions some of the weaknesses in the business.
Debt is one of the regulars we get, facts are it is high for the size of business we are (large part of reason we have shorters as they see it as difficult/impossible to service).
The company has proven historically it can service ors debts (has since taken on more though).
Throwing out other companies debt numbers is worthless in themselves without the rest of the financials.
BP for example does c. 60 X Cineworld revenues (doesn't have 60x the debt)
AT & T massive multiples of Cineworld revenue.
Same for others mentioned.

Cineworld debt is the (largely speaking) reason we have a SP where it is and some doubts by some.
A period of no dividend payments and a strong recovery in these next couple of years (not weeks or months) should see the company reduce that debt to far better levels as a ratio of income.
They have already worked hard on cost reductions to aid this also.

I would say most people do book online, and it IS cheaper than purchasing tickets not online.
As I understand it is currently a requirement or at least heavily encouraged so as to minimise contacts.

Matt, now we are effective vaccine backed the key metrics are much less so case numbers now and more hospitalisations and deaths.
Thankfully so far these are fine, but government and scientific community clearly monitoring before next easing confirmed in UK.

They in the most part still seem happy to progress.

Had a quick look at first random English cinema I could find and a Cruella booking for tonight.
Lots of space to be filled, but it appears I was wrong with my assumption on rows.
Seems no empty rows between in England.
Less cautious than in Scotland which tally's with number of other moves during pandemic and road out.
Good for the tills there I guess.

You can initially choose seats next to other people, but once you try to progress it says problem with your booking.
I do not book in England or Wales but other than 2 seats between v 3 I assume all nations same for Cineworld.
Therefore a row between left empty also.
Both these factors in mind it is impossible to reach 50% capacity.
All this aside it does look like this early in return Cineworld and cinema is making a very good start within the constraints they have.

Mooky has commented on it before and the business can operate ok for a period like this, but does need us to have that next step of reduced/no restrictions to enable the cash generating machine to really gather pace.

Saw this tonight as a Cineworld unlimited card early showing.
Current restrictions are to the detriment to the business I feel (contrary to what I previously thought).
There is only so much spreading over screens of popular movies they can do.
There was 50 - 55 in tonight's screening in one of the biggest screens.
I note all current unlimited screenings allocated to this same screen.
Probably about 1/4 full which is nearing sell out in real terms currently.
I was more struck by the foyer area before going in and it was by far the busiest it has been so far.
Queues for Starbucks and other concessions. Number of people coming out earlier movies and decent numbers waiting to go into various movies.
Starbucks girl when asked said they expected Sunday to be very busy as extra staff had been asked to work.
Very heavily weighted with younger adults I also noticed tonight.
They particularly want out to do something/anything.
Friends together, couples.
The demand currently certainly seems there (well at my local).
For UK let's hope restrictions do further ease next month so we can enjoy regular life and Cineworld can maximise benefit of this apparent demand.

Good for overall medium/longterm picture (UK specific)
We knew it was coming on board and is of benefit later in year.
Single dose and being an additional option are good positives.

June 21st still seems ok on balance, but it's not yet a given (some disgruntled messages from "some" in the field).

Glasgow held for at least another week in Scotland's own roadmap.

Cruis it is out on Monday I believe.
This is one of the Cineworld unlimited card holders advance screenings.
They have lined up 9 I think in first c. month of re-opening. :-)

That's the thing Bonkers, we sometimes take our social circle or this BB as being the barometer and it's often not accurate for wider audience.
Often we hear for example that CGI stuff is all rubbish.
Sequels are lacking originality and so also "rubbish"
"Comic book stuff" has dominated lately, "sequels" thinking FF do fantastic.

While Oscar winner (Nomadland) has been my lowest attendance film so far.
Hopkins has been a fantastic actor and will pull a level of audience.
For me though the story and what the movie is won't draw several sold out screenings.
It may well turn out to be a very good film, but I don't see the wider audience hysteria for it.
Let's see and I would LOVE to be very wrong on that and also many more films to surprise me and be half billion or more movies :-)

Quiet Place II for me tonight :-) (I think this will do more than Hopkins film for example)

9 and 7 showings today for those 2.
14 and 15 for them tomorrow (think same Sunday)
at my local bonkers.
Conjuring been on for few days at least as that's one I saw earlier in week.
FF9 will no doubt be huge as you say bonkers, don't see The Father as being anything like that size though.
Solid mid ground type movie (I may judge that very wrong) but the real big stuff has been in handful of categories for last number of years (largely speaking).
More movies, more choice and constant feed is what we want and looks like we will have for a while anyway :-)
