Just noted local Cineworld social media they have announced am additional screening being added today for The Conjuring "due to popular demand".

This probably fits with various bits we have seen collectively.
During week and for less "big" movies the attendance levels are still low.
However for the more popular movies and peak cinema times i.e. weekends there is a demand and good attendance generally (so far).

Don't worry Bonkers it is his issue not yours, mine or anyone elses.
If you express a view different to his or at times point out everything is not perfect and the business while we believe in it and remain holders in it has had, does have and will have certain issues to deal with.
LPD then chooses to attack you and his go to is that you are a trader (he views that as being some way of demeaning you).
This is only added to in hilarity by the fact he has traded the share himself and when he previously sold a chunk and moved to Card and possibly others he went much quieter here. He bought a chunk back and instantly become far more vocal again.
Hilarious and sad at same time.

Trading in range we have traded since late Feb (exception the few weeks spike in March) really.
So far it's only couple weeks of near all locations open and pretty much all with restrictions.
Other than some industry wide snippets and a non detail "better than expectations" from Cine first week we really don't know in real terms how we have started back.

I have pretty much seen everything on offer at cinemas now and there is nothing new next week.
There needs to be a LOT of "filler" movies to go with the bigger ones and not sure of that depth is there yet.

Also a bit bored of hearing best year ever of movies.
It looks reasonably solid, but if we are honest it's not Marvel End Game / Avatar / Lord of The Rings originals every other week.
Fair bit work ahead yet and we may have forgotten MD ourselves "stuck" longer than original plans.

Company is trading again so let's see gives some opportunities for pleasant surprises.
Think you mentioned before and tend to agree end this current year when we get some projected year end results and then early next year forward statements I am hopeful.
Anything before that I now have down as nice surprises/bonus.
Like the March pump to £1:24 we had.

Once our board champions get the rabbit crew, err sorry Reddit crew to pump us to £20/£30 next month I won't mind saying how wrong I was while simultaneously counting fat wedge.

Saw a TV show the other day there and two guys were buying a Reliant Kitten with a view to do it up and sell on for profit.
I liked the look of it. Maybe when we all are wallowing in our 35 bagger from Cine #cinestonks ;-) we can all get ourselves matching Kittens.

Lot has been said about "fantastic, amazing, brilliant, superb" box office last couple weeks.
With it an expectation that this should mean significant spike in share price.

Couple things:
It's so far only a couple weeks. There is over a year of horror to make inroads on.
Do we KNOW if Cineworld has recorded takings in the region of 85m per week yet?
That is levels required "just" to get to 2019 levels which we will need to start servicing and reducing debt.

Patience and it will come I am still sure, but maybe some need to be more realistic with expectations short term.

MM seeing some small mug punters (us guys on here and other boards) want to buy a few shares .
Cool charge us a premium of few p and then let the "true" price then arrive after fleecing us for few percent.

Seems a fairly regular pattern Robin. Maybe it's catch the mug punters that have been excited and charge them 2 - 4p more than they need pay.
Then price comes back to the big boy trading price.
Early morning easy few percent for the MM.

Yes Cineworld needs a take of circa 85m each and every week to be back at 2019 levels.
First half 2021 will show further substantial losses, but from July onwards we may hope to see monthly profitability (or at least break even) .
Expect it to be 2022 (next year) before we see full year profitability and major debt reductions.

Same punters bought AMC at $2 sold premarket today at $75 watching the 33% (so far) crash before their next golden jobbie deal.

An old one now, but still comedy gold.

Zero relevance to Cineworld.
What is happening with AMC has nothing to do with the Cinematic business..
Cineworld and AMC are VERY different regards short pisitions.
What is happening with them doesn't put money in the pockets of a Cineworld shareholder and we will NOT see the same happen here .
As been covered countless times the circumstances are not there for them to do same.

Some looked at AMC as a punt/investment and either didn't or took a profit (largely speaking)
Rest never seriously looked at them and but for a very unique thing happening still wouldn't.
