The only thing I would say as caution to yourself or others saying low hospitalisations, single figure deaths we must open everything up now..
We did have low hospitalisations and single figure deaths back around last July.
We rushed opening and made number of had choices which got us to worst part of pandemic.
Yes now there are differences in that we have an effective immunisation programme, but it "may" be the smart thing to delay (not cancel) full reopening/removal of restrictions for some weeks, a month or two.
This would greatly assist getting greater numbers protected and also reduce transmittability of virus. Therefore reducing chances of multiple strains and in turn a strain that could evade current vaccines.
That as I understand it is the dilemma government is grappling with and are keen to vaccinate as quickly as supplies allow.

Bonkers, yes it was a Cineworld Unlimited cardholder screening.
These are anything from a few days to as long as month or so early of general release.

I too have been to a number of movies pre covid that had a handful of people or less in them.
That's partly why cinemas require restrictions to be fully removed in time so they can also have the screenings that have not a single seat empty (to give the boost to the averages).
However I have NOT been to an Unlimited screening which is for a well acclaimed movie with an actor such as Anthony Hopkins in it and have still have relatively low numbers.
Unlimited screenings are mostly well attended.
Those fully booked out Marvel and such movies made up for our 2 - 10 people attended screenings.
Therefore that and not having just gone/coming through a pandemic and c. $800 m less debt then all contributed to SP did.

The business is still to experience it's first month of profitability since the begining of the covid pandemic.
Not sure one weekend (or a few) better than limited expectations is worthy of dramatically changing that.

Happy to remain patient and believe in the CEO, the business and the sector as a long-term investor though :-)

Let's go halfs on Saturday and buy 1bn shares each sammy. Maybe Robin can buy 5bn as he has couple high level income streams.

If you have any experience with dementia, family members close friends then I feel it can prove a rather powerful and difficult watch at times.
Be interested to hear others take on it when they have seen it.
Not as busy as the last Unlimited screening I went to last week.
Ok numbers in current restrictions, but well down on a pre covid similar screening (though in some respects this doesn't matter as Unlimited card holders pay whether there or not).

Yeah if only we could perfectly time every share transaction.
There is some frustration, but still believe in the industry and the business so in time....

Bottom line is the business has literally just reached near all open and still has restrictions on it.
We have had a further 5 months of losses to add to last year's disaster.
There is not enough demand for the share as it currently stands so easy to be held by MM.

DO I think we should be more than we are, yes but not a lot.
I think we passed too wide a range too quickly and were probably over priced when we peaked at £1:24.
That's hard to accept when we see AMC hit daft levels and some other shares fly at times.

WTFDIK though, I am just a negative share trading Scotsman ;-)

The other thing I would say is we have seen rather a lot on here past few weeks/2 months of people being frustrated and disappointed share price isn't higher or climbing every day.
Without the exaggerated predictions I personally think we wouldn't have as much of that.

Under promise, over deliver. No!?

I have no issue with months from now us expecting higher share price.
Heck it can even close higher today.
My point I had initially made was" If someone was out of this share last Thursday they needn't lose sleep over not being in until start this week"
It would have cost them c. 2% and on balance worthwhile cost to have it confirmed that Bank Holiday weekend went well and the long crawl back out of last year is underway for cinemas and other hospitality :-)
