By contrast I watched at my local tonight also.
There was 26 - 30 and it's on one of the medium sized screens.
Largely young couples and mates.
Good number of people in foyer getting their popcorn etc
I assume the other "bigger" movies that were on at similar time had as many or more in attendance.
First few days of a road back my personal experience gives me plenty confidence.

Mortal Kombat for me last night too Crumpets.
Wasn't as busy as Kong night before, but smaller screen and still 22 people at that particular screening.
Decent I would say for midweek screening under circumstances on such a movie.
Was more people around out front at the onsite Starbucks etc.
Cinema is in a retail park and both nights has had fair amount of cars in carpark.

Well 50% wrong so far ;-)

Had seen some mention of it previously, and have today received email from Cineworld regards this option.
Makes sense to utilise the screens and space as much as possible.
As we know the multiplexes are far from a 100% full 100% of time. Day times and during week especially often screens have handful of people in them.

BoA are playing the exact same hokey cokey game MS / GS / JPM (2 from that 3 at least, I get them mixed up) were about 6 - 9 months ago.
Rarely owning/trading significant percentage of actual held shares, but using financial instruments to play with the SP movements and make some safe easy money.

Disclaimer: I do not particularly understand how these financial instruments work in practice.

There has been 7 or so BoA RNS since begining April, up down up down you get the picture.

Since start April the average daily volume has been circa 8.7m.
Look for yourselves at volumes in previous month's, speaks "volumes" ;-) :-)

Realise like many we have "missed" there was more money to potentially be made, but on balance are you fairly happy to have got in and out making a bit with Amigo sammy?

Not followed what happened at second court hearing with FCA having grown a pair and gone against the companies ****ty proposal.

I don't think a single unlimited member enjoying first night back at cinema warrants a positive move in SP ;-)
As I said it's about 6months, a year, 2years.... from now.
Happy it will come in due course (that's not in a few days or weeks)

Oh, and yes there was nice mix of people attending.
Mostly in two's I would say. Like myself there were other individuals, there was youngsters through to older people, couples, parent and child.
Good mix which was also encouraging.

That was one individual (me) , one cinema, one movie, one screening experience.
Not saying all will be as good as, better or worse.
I do think it is clear that people will be back doing all the things they previously loved and indeed maybe more will too.

I am not really bothered about today's attendances, tomorrow or next week's.
It is only the start and my confidence is not in day to day, but in medium and long term trends.
SP can and may go anywhere short term and to LTH that should matter not.

If someone was to ask my thoughts on SP say 1 year from now then I would say personally my view is it is far more likely to be double what it currently is than half what it currently is.

May 2022 happy for anyone to come back toe on this of its nearer 43p than £1:70 :-)

Went to see Kong v Godzilla at local Cineworld.
Old movie now essentially and midweek screening.
Didn't get exact numbers count, but c. 35 - 45 people at this particular movie and screening.
Actually felt a bit emotional to be back and seeing the screen stretch, lights dim, hush descend and the monsters appear right in front of us larger than life.
There is no home set up compares, not even remotely and anyone that says otherwise is in absolute denial.

Left feeling fantastic, not only as a shareholder but maybe more importantly as a movie fan and human being.
Life has began its journey back to that joyous normal!!
Happy to have my money sat here for as long as it takes now.
Not in least concerned with movements by the minute, hour, day, week or even month right now.
SP will return (and may even surpass) pre covid levels all in good time.
All IMHO only off course.
Seeing people, talking to people and impirtai LISTENING to people we mostly just want our lives back.
Doing all the regular things we enjoyed previously and more than ever getting out the bloody house and interacting with others.

Yes there are positive things about "new" variant.
It is still low numbers in the UK and little or none that I know in the USA (that's Cineworld markets all but covered).
Initial indications are that current vaccines are still very effective on it so at this stage a vaccine tweak not required for this specific variant.
Variants there are hundreds of not thousands (as expected with a virus that's been allowed to spread in large numbers for a period of time.

Have said several times Crumpets, spot in its really about U S A, U S A.

The business would likely survive and flourish without UK, it WOULDN'T without USA.

c. 5 X the UK business is the good ol' US.
