Morning Lionel,I am not even close to selling.Because. 1.I still see an outside chance of a NO vote (Sprott dependant) 2.The value given in the article is the PEA value (less than half of HM real asset) 3.sale of assets and Ergama potential. I believe if a yes vote wins then there will be an initial drop in Sand sp but within 8 mths it will have gained 50%.nothing like the gain if we remain independant .So NO and then set about recinding the director bonuses they awarded themselves and make them dependant on performance obviously AIMOHO

@WFG,I don't disagree with any posters on here who say Sand is a canny company.The problem I have ,and the reason for a NO vote is that our entry point is far,far too low and Marl shareholders will bear the diluted growth that benefits existing Sand holders.

My faux pas was obviously buying in,not changing my mind/strategy Einstein.

so a lame RNS (re historical figures),which I believe will be the precursor for a possible fund raising is my reason for selling up .I changed my opinion,what the hell has it got to do with you BigJoke

@itsyou,I have always been of the opinion that several deals have beendone " on the nod"before this offer i.e.HM streaming/arg sale/ivory sale/ Ergama ? but why on earth we couldn't we do it at our own more profitable pace ? the answer I believe is directors deals.!

maybe just holding their position for the "real punchup" ?

sprott and Resource may well not have to announce as they have previously been documented (announced) as over 1%

@Crisp,I wouldn't say it if I didn't believe it.I don't need to be careful, because it's my opinion .If the vote is No and Sand walk away the arbs will still want their 80/90p.And the market will see that the shareholders didn't accept a £1 bid so value is established. .Shorters could possibly drag sp back to a minimum of 60p (previous levels) longterm,but the resource is growing and 2m oz will command a great deal more (eventually) than £1 per share. IMO WE CAN'T LOSE !

Bushy,no-one could possibly say when events will unravel.If there is a bid it could well be before vote.But my feelings are an outsider will realize a NO is pretty likely.A No vote will make sure we get to the next level sooner IMO and possibly many multiples thereafter. I saw a mention here yesterday of Sprott. They would be a banker for any potential bid.They could (as they know) do a deal with any hostile bidder.Lots more twists and turns to come.Nice position to be in---We can't lose !

I thought the set date was only for them to make their "position" known and then they would be free after that to make an offer if they wished (i could well be wrong) but no matter after the NO vote they would then be free to pick us up for silly money.The last RNS with grades into R Zone will create interest.I still believe Ergama is a winner and the board know it. Why else not drill the two holes available.And whist I'm on the soapbox,what was all that 85% crap about Glen ?

For me this is an obvious No vote,because the downside is far outweighed by the opportunities.I expect the NO's to win the day but if by some slim chance the YES's win we will be shareholders in a company which is expected to double it's revenue stream by HM and who knows what with Erg.The sp could easily 50%+ from entry point (equiv £1.20 exc cash aspect) in 12 mths. So not disastrous. If the No's win I would expect one or more hostile bids so £?? .If they fail to emerge,it's back to plan A which should see us raising funds for next year and raising the sp to probably a more realistic £2++++ as has always been said here PATIENCE if only the board were.GLA

Infil and oustep all producing and will add to the doubling (at least)of the resource. No mention of the detail of the 2 missing drills/assays @ Ergama just says completed.Plot thickens there but info given just confirms that £1 is a joke !
