Gotothemoonn. My point is that if your invested based on fundamental analysis over the mid term watching a chart on over a minute, hour or daily timeframe is pointless.
I'm not saying charts have no value. I am saying they have no value once your positioned, on a mid term fundamentally based investment. Unless you plan to try trade the swings. You may well be doing that which is fair enough.
Anyway, I understand charts. Where the investment warrants it I use them, just not in this case as it's not a swing trade, or a range trade, it's not a trade based on technical indicators or candle formations. IMO RMM should be viewed as a minimum mid term investment over a year or two because of the macro copper environment, geographic safety and with a turnaround team with a plan in a producing mine.
So on that basis a daily chart has no real relevance. As you'll know when looking at charts you generally look at the timeframe above your intended investment to assess the trend. A timeframe below to assess your entry and exits.
I've got a target price. I've timed the entry and really it's a case of waiting to hit the target price.
With a fundamentally based investment the only thing that will cause me to sell is a fundamental change in the situation, not a minute by minute chart of level 2 data
Anyway, that's my view and 2 pence worth.
