My only theory is if AA were to going for a full buyout but I think that's unlikely so I've personally decoupled the KCB project from being any form of dependency of the AA deal. Just my view though.

I think the trouble is the geology and geography of where they are. It's all covered in sand so you have no visual clues, plus expensive to drill. So it's a little like short sighted exploration without availability of glasses. Linen it to if you were blind you'd have to learn braille, then make sure you've got the right book before you can read it.
They want to prove their hypothesis and they are having to be creative in doing the pre drill exploration to identify the best targets.
Previous exploration turned up blanks as they didn't have the methods we have now, and couldn't do the pre drill work kav have focused on.
I'm comfortable they do this as I'd rather they have best chance of hitting a major discovery(ies)

Yes I agree with your summary of posters here. A good mix really.

Regarding an extension I wouldn't rule it out and I think I said the other day imo it would only happen to finalise a deal very short term. It's defo not my preference; but that's a call from NvS / Remy and co. Albeit I see little advantage to ARCM to extend.

AA will still have a headstart as we know they're well advanced compared to any competition but not offering an EA extension would put a bullet up their (AA) bottom.

I'm not aware of any contractual obligation this time. So I think commercially and strategically it would be right to not extend.

Regarding finalising any deal it depends if AA can get into the funding and approval boards for decisioning on the ARCM terms. They may say no..then we'll head to China?!?

On the flip side one could argue we don't want AA to finalise a deal. There is a working assumption here that AA have redirected and requested the new drill targets.
That may be correct but it is an assumption. A contrary view is it may be ARCM turning the screw a little and ARCM changed the targets themselves , following the review of data with AA.

After all if with the assistance of AA we found more highly prospective targets we want to prove it up as much as possible..voisey bay it as we've referred to it.

We will get more electromagnetic data in a couple weeks from the 50m line spacing. That may alter the 18 deep drill targets identified when assessing the data with AA.

Either way lots of news due, lots of possibilities.

Personally I'd like AA to be slow, no EA extension, drill the targets and hit major ore then have a voisey bay bid..but that's the dream obviously.

Probably placing myself in the line of fire here but this BB is better than this.

Let's just keep it about arcm, it doesn't have to be so personal. I can understand and also get frustrated myself and react at times. It's darn frustrating when people decide to post on a BB with a goal to be negative and divisive.
However sadly they do have that right and it's not worth getting so personal.
As has been said by others this is a decent board with plenty of decent contributors. There is good knowledge to be shared. We are all generally open to be asked things and accept and engage with people who have a contrary view (if those views are shared in a polite and non self serving way).

If people turn up trying to get a reaction don't give it to them.
We won't all see eye to eye, some won't have best intentions. Rise above it.

No amount of disagreements, abuse, rudeness on this page will make a blind bit of difference to the outcome of arcm.
Engage with genuine contributors on both sides of any debate;vignore those being purposefully divisive;live and let live.

Agreed Apr. I'd say report as disruptive, then filter. They have one purpose and that isn't constructive debate. I'm sure they'd actually be able to have a decent enough discussion with if it wasn't for the tone, intent. Sadly they seem to prefer trying to rub the whole board the wrong way.
It just makes me feel sorry for them tbh.

Last time they arrived they'd asked a question and said very confidently how they'd read all the RNS', only for the next post to thank someone for pasting a paragraph from an obviously related RNS and saying how they missed it.

You won't win with them. Pointless trying. All the answers were in an RNs or the videos ; details around the proof of concept and process etc. Any deeper info they'll have to wait for the docs to be completed.

If there was no risk and we had done everything and could answer all the questions there wouldnt be the potential to grow ARCM has got.

Im not convinced it's 'done', as such, in my definition. I believe it implies progress, a deal principally agreed and a level of confidence in its completion.
I don't think it's far off, but as for how long the tail is in finalising (my definition of done), who knows.

I expect lots of red tape to go through in terms of approvals and governance for whatever NvS has countered with. Always takes ages probably time submitting proposals and getting onto the relevant board dates for funding and approval etc etc. Bigger the business the bigger the wait times generally more non value added time and process wait times lol. Not quite so nimble.

Peggy I've been in and around here a whole myself I was invested in Ortac, then arcmas has many people here.

It's not the same as Ortac though is it. I didn't hold at all times though as I had periods of doubt untily lost recent larger size entry here..

Honestly, if I had your outlook I would have sold up long ago (and I did). You clearly have a fear you'll miss out if you sell up so you must have some belief.

You have to backup your own beliefs by making the associated decisions. If you genuinely don't have faith then that's fine, but you must sell and move on. That's just my view though.

I suppose it all comes down to expectations. Personally I try avoid being drawn into guessing the monetary value of any prospective deal. I like to consider the options as it's a bit like solving of a puzzle but I'm open to consider the deal as a whole beyond any cash as it could be in many forms and nothing is ruled out ATM.

That's not to say I wouldn't like it to be as much cash as possible, and I clearly want a good deal for arcm. I'm just being open minded around it really.

ATM the market isn't attributing any value to the closure of any deal imo. On the flip side, some of the figures I've seen posted here are wildly optimistic imo. However I'd be more than happy to see those sorts of figures.

My expectation is simply a deal getting done but I comforted arcm have a contingency plan to get to production and other interested parties.

One way or another I see the shareprice being a fair amount higher than it is now, no deal may take longer but I've got time and patience. If a deal is done it'll be a case of seeing what it is, what the price does and assess from there.

They have made an offer Peggy, but a deal hasn't been mutually agreed ATM. I appreciate you want to see this in an RNS before you believe it but doesn't mean it's not true. Its just a trust bias you have.
Clearly I imagine we would all have anticipated share price growth higher than this, however I'm not personally worried.

Paul that's fair enough. Each has a different risk appetite.

Fortunately I bought in decent amounts in the 3's but I don't agree about the value being overpriced at 4p. Like you say we have the KCB and pretty much have the enntirety of the highly prospective KSZ to ourselves.

While their is clearly risk the data is being managed methodically and sensibly to validate using various methods, and multiple validations of their models.
As you say it's not risk free but if they get any sort of result from the drill program rewards will be huge but I believe that the shareprice will appreciate from here prior to any drill results.
