Sadly it's true.

Boards are full of it and generally the reply is ; I'm just balancing the board, or im balancing the rampers, or I'm saving people money, keeping it 'real' etc.

I'm not sure how being ultra negative serves any purpose, or being ultra positive for that matter.

My view when I bought in around this price (pre consolidation) was a targetvof 3p (£3 post consolidation).

I'll obviously assess this over time but still my target. That's not by Christmas though, just a target from here based on execution of the turnaround plan.

No one's knows diddly. All our commentary about the future (not the past) is simply opinions, circumatantial guess work.
Repeating the disagreements day In day out isn't likely to result in a shared consensus view on anything that hasn't happened already.

It's like everyone needs to prove why they are right, at the cost of being respectful to each other.

Anyway, it's okay to be confident in your opinions. You have to be confident to invest your own cash. That said, they are just opinions, not fact, and when viewed as such we should be able to listen to each others views. Without even needing to agree with them.

You may be right in no deal in July, perhaps they may need a little longer. However I'm not concerned as they have many other avenues and options. Even if it is a no deal after all this time, let's not forget AA already made an offer which ARCM countered, but if AA can't meet Arc terms right now no deal is fine with me.
I personally have trust in the BoD here but I get the feeling too many loose ends for you that's caused the loss of faith. Nothing wrong in that.

Each to their own.l etc If you have doubt it's probably the right call to sell. I'd exit if I felt that way on a stock too.

Why is it so important to everyone to be right? No one with a strong view is ever going to change their mind, so bickering seems a waste of energy.

Be confident in your own mind and research and if someone disagrees it doesn't matter.
GTTMU doesn't have tea leaves and no one can really know where this stock will go. Sure people can use fib retracements, look for key zones on a chart etc but it's easy to say it will drop, after watching sentiment and the share price fall for some time following a stumbling block.
I have no issue with people saying it'll drop more, it might well do. Heck, probably will drop a bit further. My research says hold and if it does drop back I'll even add.
IMV copper will be an increasingly hot commodity. The world needs more.
RMMs a copper producer, got all permits and infrastructure and year round operation in Canada, a safe jurisdiction. It already has the plant, port, processing. Plus more exploration targets.
New management and a turnaround plan. Trading below the capital raise price is a dream for PIs. But that's just my view.
My point is, be confident in your own view but leave the egos behind. Let the share price prove your point over a period of time. Not after five minutes lol.
If you don't think it's a good investment, move on. If you do then buy or hold. Simple

They seemed to think we were cashed up to production from CE in the investor calls.
I appreciate there was then the infamous 'placing' (now to be referred to as placegate) for the Botswana deal that was dangled but they seemed confident they have sufficient reserves ATM.
Also, they surrendered their warrants and ceased all future director issuance of warrants, as to avoid shareholder dilution. Even more aware after the aforemention placegate shenanigans.
I'm not saying a further capital raise won't happen, just that they seemed to be comfortable and they know it'll have to be for something pretty meaningful.
Anyway. Near term, we await the big reveal.

As it stands I think they are okay and BT is IMO mindfully managing the finances. Clearly at some stage raising cash will be inevitable (except for in the event of an early all out buyout or significant jv ; not impossible).
For me ATM they are covered for near term exploration and if they prove their theory the capital gain from share growth should be sufficient IMV to cover a potential future raise; at a hopefully higher price than today, even with a discount.
That said their is inherent risks that each individual must be mindful of, and comfortable with, to access those potential rewards (if successful).
I've probably got too many given the recent strength and interest for the stock. However I'm currently intending to hold it all.

So 6 weeks to drill then they will test on site, with less accurate tools then off to SA for assay then news. May take a while so patience will be key but that's no issue.

However in interim we will get some info shared when they do a electromagnetic survey from within the hole. That would be interesting.

Ella, I expect there will have been some payment this year though. As it's being spread over the next few years.

That said the general principle behind the surrender (as I'm sure youll know) was to reduce dilution. I like it to a small share buyback. They also advised that they won't issue more share options to management going forward which is good.

They should be cashed up now so either way I'm not concerned. If cash got lower, or free cash flow from Cheyeza East plant got delayed then I'm sure they would prioritise company over the share surrender payment. I don't think it should come to that though. We may get a deal with a major between now and then..

Anyway for anyone unfamiliar here is some of the detail extracted from the share surrender RNS:

'In lieu of this surrender, the share option holders will be compensated in line with the Black-Scholes fair value model, using a 10-day VWAP of 6.94p through cash and / or shares to be issued at the Company's discretion to a total value of £3,474,179 ("Consideration"). It remains the Company's priority in respect of the surrender of options not to issue further shares to management thereby avoiding diluting shareholders' interests.

In order to protect the cash resources of the Company, the compensation schedule will be phased over the next 3 years at the Company's discretion ("Payment Period") and which would coincide with the expected cash flows of the Company's planned Cheyeza East plant.'

Perhaps cash burn (general opex), exploration costs (drill / electromagnetic / result analysis), not sure if any money swapped hands for Botswana at this stage can't recall but possibly not.

In my experience lots of projects generally cause more dilutive impact on existing holders.

I say that as ultimately multi project means more exploration capex. They'll have to pay their share of the bills. Also generally companies like POW will have non dilutive rights on their projects so will have to be involved in any capital raising events to maintain their ownership (or dilute down).
For me to invest in a company that's got multiple projects, even solid ones, they need to have a cash generative element very close or already be producing. Otherwise it's a little of a double dilution situation. Dilution of the value of your own shares and co level, and dilution at the project level.

Clearly dilution will be a factor in any exploration business, even KAV. But principally I'm here for KSZ potential. Albeit arguably higher risk.

Agreed. This RNS was principally about the things they can / or need to disclose. Financials needed release and drilling/ EM survey to start was to update the market after the covid delay.
The last we were told was the talks with AA are going well. Regular engagement. Counter offer with AA to assess.
The bit at the end of todays RNS 'The company looks forward to updating shareholders in the next weeks and months ahead' tells a story.
NvS doesn't say that sort of stuff. Generally keeps it brief and to the intended point.
We can take from the last sentence and the exclusion of an update on the AA deal that nothing materially changed.
They are still within their timescales albeit edging closer to the end of the EA.

Sentiment obviously plays its role in markets, without a doubt. That said cash is king. When the turnaround starts earning (and it will), with string copper prices that'll go up (and they will), sentiment won't be as much a factor as people think. Not saying it's not important but cash is king and sentiment will always change.
Exploration companies totally more sentiment driven, but this is different.

Many bought in on the hype and fireworks and so had different and probably amplified expectations.
I bought in with a target price and initial timeline of two years, give or take.
People will come and go during this time as many just follow shiny things. That's great, each to their own.
However sometimes sitting still and trusting your research is more important. Served me well in past.
I'll still monitor as always but my target and investment case remain unchanged ATM.

If I couldn't find anything to be positive about; in a stock I'm invested in; I'd be gone. Plenty of fish in the sea, just need to find one you think you'd like to eat.

Observing is not doing anything, not contributing, just watching like I've been doing for a long time. As many have said, including me several weeks or maybe months ago, I'll wait for a fundraising.
It's clear many here have lost their sense of objectivity, and are very subjective in their views.
It's simply emotionally driven investing / trading.
Emotionally driven decision making isn't a solid base for anything constructive and certainly not worth being influenced by.

Anyway, BIDS is either a multi hundred million pound business (or more) in the making or will get swallowed up. The risk to reward from here is decent. That said I'm not rushing in and will crawl back into my hole and back to observer mode.
