Polygon are not stuck. They are a hedge fund. Research is not their weak point. There will be a favourable risk/reward characteristics in SNG and clear path to value creation/realization, otherwise they wouldn't have built up a stake here, even AFTER Sprinter. I'm pretty sure they will have long and short positions, and any other number of financial instruments and strategies in play here. Otherwise I'm a Llama's chin whisker.

If that is the case that "motivation in the right circles has not materialised"; if that is the case why has the most significant shareholder in the company not departed? They have had ample time and opportunity. Why has the most significant shareholder is the company not agitated for change in the BOD? Again, ample time and opportunity but no obvious disquiet from Polygon has ben detected. Perhaps they see the value in "fostering" their investment, of seeing it through until it has "aligned itself fully". IMHO they remain the significant investor because they have conviction that this investment will pay in the timescales they have set. They are not impatient and nor are they as focussed on th enear-term as we are. And whilst it may be true that don't know anymore than other shareholders right now, they may well have dealings with other potential partners that put them more in the frame about progress here. They do not have to rely only, like us, on word from the BOD of SNG. They are doing deals here, there and everywhere. Their omnipresence may be keeping them abreast of things that are out of view to us. Who knows?

And should Pfizer wish to do just that Doc.Daneeka, and it aligns with their current focus and pipeline strategy, there is nothing stopping them making us an offer we simply can't refuse. Now that the wider ID conversation has shifted to broad-spectrum antiviral drug candidates, we should certainly scratch a few BP pipeline itches.

I'm saying the low bar set by Pfizer (Paxlovid proved to be a "flop" at prophylaxis) seems to NOT stand in the way of commercial success. We should take comfort from that.

I think it shows that it is worthy of further study, for sure. As non-scientists with limited data it is difficult to say how SNG will perform in this regard. HOWEVER, it is worth noting that Pfizer's seem to have set the bar on this with their Paxlovid studies which showed it to be a post-exposure protection flop - yes - flop. Analysts Cantor Fitzgerald wrote a note to clients at the time saying this "post-exposure protection flop does not change our view that the peak sales potential of [Pfizer’s] COVID-19 franchise (vaccine and oral antiviral) is still under-appreciated,". The called the results simply a “bump in the road.” So this very much proves you don't have to reach a high bar when it come to proving prophylactic efficacy. Further studies tell us how well SNG could surpass that low bar set by Pfizer, or not. It certainly looks like the study Titania linked to shows it merits further investigation.

More than enough to keep a Senior Medical Writer very busy! You sound like you really don't want that information to get out, to be lauded and recognised by the big research wigs in attendance, those that manage platform trials and drive global research? I fear if Brooke does indeed "look at this forum to obtain a measure of how shareholders view their current situation", as you have suggested she do, she will be left with an overwhelming feeling of disappointment that there are, in reality, far less real "shareholders" here in our number opining on the company stock, and far more shorting and day-trading posters, whose motives are far-removed from those of the loyal investors that she serves. I'm sure though she's been around the block and won't be persuaded by such tomfoolery...
