Good question. It is not connected to the terms you mention. Negative Ned is a colloquial term for someone who is consistently negative about something, never having anything positive to add. It's a bit like calling someone a Silly Sausage (we know sausages aren't silly, but it is universally known to mean someone who is being playfully silly). In short, it's someone with an eternally pessimistic view on something, even in the face of positive findings.

I'm not interested in Paxlovid Mani, just commenting on the Panoramic trial potentially adding more agents to trial.

If Paxlovid as added a year ago, and Molnu a year before that, I'm guessing it's time for another agent to be now added. It sounds like the latest one Paxlovid has had a crack at the whip. Another drug that was destined for other things a year ago and thus may have had little interest in being involved then due to commercial plans back then, may now be in a position to a Panoramic agent? I haven't been looking at this trial to date, but it seems feasible that they are introducing more drugs.

WPA5, there is another possibility IMHO. It is being used as a Management 'incentive'. They've parked themselves in clear sight of being able to exercise far greater power (should they wish), but they have not gone that bit higher, which presumably they easily could. They have parked up at 28+ % - that should be a clear indication to SYN Mgmnt of expectations, a sort of feedback loop if you will. At least, it could be interpreted that way. They have positioned themselves near enough to taking up the reins if need be,, but they are showing that they also trust the BOD to execute plans. A bit 'Helicopter' parenting. Back to your point about TFG - if they lost faith they would do the much more sensible thing and effect changes at the top thus protecting what they've built up, not walking themselves into a dead end. That's what they've done in the past. Leopards, spots, etc.
