I was wondering what people's thoughts were on the part of the summer Sweet RNS that I have copied above. I had thought that perhaps we would have an update by now given that the RNS referred to a process that was coming to an end in the summer. Is this the sort of thing that would require an RNS?

I was a deeply unhappy LTH for a couple of years as I watched this slide and my expectations weren't met. The only reason I didn't sell out was that I'd lost so much that it was worth keeping it in as a punt to nothing. At some point circa 7p I broke a promise to myself not to buy any more and am very grateful that I did.

The decision was mine and I did my own research but I owe a debt of gratitude to a few posters on here who's informative, measured approach helped bring a bit of sanity to my more erratic investment strategy.

In short I agree, this is a decent board with some very helpful posts.

In an ideal world, they wouldn't sell any Skin but I prefer that to dilution of this stock. In addition, SOH is on recorded as saying he hasn't got much faith in the leadership there so it makes sense for him to want Opti to hold less going forward.

Thank you, I didn't see that. I don't think that is true. Probably someone who holds some stock in Opti wanting to put out a fake message of Sweet being in products. If it is true, I'd love to know how the comment on an obscure site was coincidentally found by an Opti investor.

Maybe I'm being cynical but if it was true, we would see a huge impact on the price here

Just read the link. Genuine question as I could easily have missed it but was their a reference to Opti in there?

I go with my gut too quite a lot but have just ended up 4 stone overweight from eating too many muffins.

It's promising and looks like our marketing strategy has undergone a much needed transformation.

This does seem to have more meat on the bones than the optimistic RNS of years past so hopefully it is reflected in sales.

If so, it provides a very solid foundation for the stock price as we await developments in Sweet.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tata or someone else is getting ready for a bid. Opti is peanuts to them and if they own the IP for Sweet and think it will be a success, they have the resources to really make it worthwhile.

It wouldn't be all over the medical journals yet given where it is in the stage of development.

It definitely wouldn't be in the mainstream media until it has passed through P2 and P3.

I would say that for where it is at, it is getting a decent response from knowledgeable figures.

This is a tricky one in that I want Opti to be as well known as possible so I want SOH out there drumming up publicity. My issue is when he does it in a closed (paid) environment which means that I, as a shareholder don't have access to the information unless I pay a third party.

I have no problem with those third parties themselves. It's a free market, they are entitled to generate revenue for their work and I am not forced to pay for it. I do have a problem from the angle of me as a substantial investor in the company (I own more than 0.1% which I consider a decent heft.), not having access to the thoughts of SOH on the company because I won't pay a 3rd party.

I'm also not sure that doing this with Elrico and TW leads to wider publicity as Thier subscribers will have been aware of us for years anyway.

On a personal level, I have always found Elrico decent but I personally think TW is a bit of a charlatan and I think it discredits our company to see SOH so deeply in bed with him.

Very interesting to see today's reaction on price, but more importantly on volume. Maybe it is the board and EXCO putting their life savings into it as they're now allowed to buy again after yesterday's RNS.

Normally means news is on the way. We know how leaky AIM is and this share has been in the past

It's the sort of thing Waitrose women will hoover up in their shopping baskets. Few more flavours and some marketing and it would be a big winner I'm sure.

For investors who may be fairly new here after the recent activity, I think it's worth saying that the general tone of what Aquae wrote there, without the specific figures that could be extrapolated from yesterday, was something he was saying while we plumbed the depths of single figures from the depths of the low 10s.

At that point, I suspect a lot of investors were suffering from the twin effects of fatigue having seen such a large fall and many years without proper growth go by, and being left massively overweight here. I could see there was an element of reason in what he was writing it wasn't enough to outweigh the other two factors.

I think it is worth writing that because these boards often have people whipping a share up when it is on the rise and flogging it when it is on the down. I got one appreciate the consistent logic and evidence of a few members of this board over the past year and more.

More like dump and pump.

This moves up with a lot more volume than it moves down.

On the firminech deal, does that give us 5%-10% of sales globally or just in North America?

Likewise, I’m not getting carried away with telephone number although I also don’t understand SOHs £2 million per annum figure. To me that seems either way too high if it isn’t successful, and way too low if it is. Maybe he has learnt to not over promise and is being conservative.

On that note I saw that ii have me the option to trade PBX so I did a run through hoping to get a few at its currently depressed price only for it not to work after all.
