That study doesn't seem particularly impressive given the number of respondents. There also wasn't a link to the study that I could see so I'm not sure what use the RNS is. Has the study been submitted for publication? I doubt it would be accepted by a peer reviewed journal of repute.

We are not doing what we should be doing as our primary purpose. We are not selling enough product despite years of scientific studies supporting the efficacy of those products. Yet more tangents only serve to distract the company from what it should be focusing on which is sales.

Looks like it hasn’t quite rock bottomed. I was thinking that the recent levelling out might be a good entry point but a, glad I resisted. Big volume today and a massive fall again despite a much smaller fall for PBX and a slight rise for SBTX.

I pretty much thought that our price would be tied to theirs but apparently not.

I own far too much stock in this already to average down. I think I'm currently at about 80,000 which is eye watering. If I wasn't so overweight I probably would at these prices just on the basis of the shareholding in the other two companies.

My big worry about that holding though is that SOH will keep watering it down in order to pay the bills at Opti.

I'm not crying about what's happened to my holding. Nobody is giving away free cash on the stock market, I made a free decision and took the risk. I'm just tossing a coin to decide whether the idiotic thing now is to average down or just sit it out.

I could be wrong but as far as I could see, Opti still has an £8 million stake in SBTX. In addition, it has a theoretical £4.5 million stake in PBX totalling £12.5 million. With a current market cap of £11.8 million there doesn't seem to be much space to fall into.

That being said, it demonstrates that the market after all this time values Opti and specifically Sweetbio at less than zero.

At the moment I don't think I could stomach watching it but thanks for sharing.

I'll be buying PBX before adding to Opti, I remember when Skin spun off and I thought there was no point in buying it because I held it as part of my Opti stock only to see it watered down to find a shrinking company with hardly any sales.

No doubt if PBX does rise in value, the same playbook will be used. Milk it and sink the money into the black hole that is Opti.

With Rene going we know the pipeline must be pretty bad so there doesn't seem to be a way that Opti is going to generate cash any time soon.

I think this demonstrates levels of optimism that employees have in the company. That is accompanied by how little stock senior employees and directors own.

Just an absolute mess.

I don’t mind the **** falling out of the price, if it was on AIM, I would use it to accumulate more as this definitely has the sales and pipeline to justify a decent market cap. What gets me is the absolute shambles of the price dropping and me not able to accumulate because of the ridiculous spread due to it being on a ridiculous exchange.

SOH really has lost the plot

That's been my day dream for Opti ever since I first invested years ago before the leap from 30p to a pound.

Yahoo Finance is totally at odds with the prices here. It had us down by a huge percentage yesterday and up by a big one today.

Thanks for posting the podcast. I had a listen and Aquae I know where you're coming from. I'm a sucker too but this time I resisted. He is very convincing but I've heard it all before and need to see sales now.

If anything I would be more inclined to buy more PBX depending on what happens with that share price.

It was more what SOH said and how he spoke when you interviewed him. I hadn’t heard him for a long while prior to that and I had forgotten what an impressive and convincing speaker he is. I can’t remember too much of the specifics now but I was struck by a sense that he had a coherent, strong approach that was going to likely bare fruit.

Good point Aquae and I appreciate the reminder but I remain skeptical until I see sales. The market seems to have lost all hope of Sweet coming good. At these prices people aren't even taking a punt which they should be if there was any reasonable chance that sales of Sweet are on the horizon.

I’m still kicking myself at not selling the last time it nearly reached 40p. The main reason I didn’t was because I listened to SOH’s Elrico interview and was once again brought onside by the smooth-talker. As he waxed lyrical, my sense disappeared. There’s just no point in me selling now. I might as well either sink with the ship or wait it out. With a looming global recession though, I would be better off setting an alert and just ignoring this as now I’m starting to get bitter. I don’t mind losing money on an investment but I feel like a bit of a sucker having put so much trust in SOH. Oh well, you love and learn (hopefully).

This is very disappointing and as has been said, this amount will not stretch far. In terms of marketing it is below peanuts and I’m with Aquae in thinking this is more about keeping the lights on.

What is extra disappointing is that it wasn’t that long ago when SOH was telling Elrico how unhappy he was with Skinbio for doing exactly the same thing. (Btw Elrico thank you for the response to my previous question, I hadn’t been on for a while so didn’t see it).

Sales are clearly bad. Anyone who visits H&B can see that. We have a good product but the people we partner with are not producing something that appeals. Myopinion is that our stuff looks cheap and that matters.

Who knows where we go from here but it’s not looking good. We are bleeding money and have been for a long while supported previously by sale of stock in SKBTX and now this issuance.

Elrico, have you got any plans to talk to SOH soon? In the absence of a Q&A it would be insteresting to get more detail.
