I suspect some may be using me...for their own ends...who knows..and personally I don't care.
As for me....I don't trust the BOD as far as I can throw them...apart from one that is!
Brilliant and as straight as a gun barrel.
Any of you can find out so much about me...my email address says it all.
If you take a look at Saturdays, (8days ago) Telegraph you will also find out where I live....as some have warned me!!
So I hope you will trust ME and vote against all motions tabled at Monday weeks meeting.
We have pleaded with Valirx to come to the party, clean up their act and successfully lead their employees, investors and more importantly (the reason I invested in them) poor souls, suffering from late stage cancer 'out of the shadow of the valley of death'.
If other investors feel the same. VOTE NO....ensure they get your message and take up some of the recommendations that have been placed before them.
I will give those who have followed Valirx one or two hints for today's discussion.
Further hints will be posted before Monday...then Tuesday, if we do not get substantive news it will culminate with my final post....which will leave no one in any doubt.
It's your call Val...don't hide behind your formal reply...whether it's called an email or letter....let's call it your clear message to us all.

Then please take over....someone who wishes to protect their investment from the reckless actions of the bod.

I don't wish to lead a lost cause....if I'm the only unhappy investor in attendance Monday week I will back off as my efforts....albeit I'm a probably a rambling old fool ..have been in vain.....
Something I will promise though, is that I will continue, alone if, necessary to expose anything untoward or worse...guess I'd better back off now if that's what everyone wants...and I'm sorry to have caused so much embarrassment

Hi rhd1.. ..I agree....much better they consider a pay cut, until they secure a partner or payment in shares in lieu of salary or something to share the pain.
If they were prepared to consider any of the suggestions you have tabled it would be encouraging......but my cynicism, and I'm sorry for that, has been created by their reluctance to consider any of the criticism , dispell rumours, or consider any recommendations tabled to date.
We can only and must now elaborate on the rumours and criticisms....and shame them....which I'm guessing we have to....it's potentially destructive but due to their attitude, what options have we left...suggestions invited....

Thoughts anyone. ..mindful the email I received from Valirx was full of dross....do you think they might be receptive to reducing the size of the existing BOD by allowing those with scientific skills to concentrate on the work they are best suited to and accept NED's to join what would be left.
I mention this as if the current BOD throw their teddies out, especially if they don't get their own way Monday week.....posters have rightly stated a rescue plan would be required to safeguard the interests of their employees and any dedicated BOD remaining.
Anyone have expertise in this subject.

....Do you know if our lord and master's will allow us to table a fourth motion, or do.we have to force the issue.
If so I have an idea....and I'm guessing many investors, including you, also have their own.
The common theme appears to be to remove one or two from the BOD and replace with NED's who can provide a bit of guidance to the BOD....If those NED's were professionals and significant investors (or gamblers depending on individual opinion), then what would be left of the existing BOD, the useful ones, who add value for money, may become the recipients of a bit of decent guidance.
That would also remove the potential criticism of nepotism .. particularly as three member of the board are married to each other.....hard to believe but true...isnt it?
Just a thought, because our lord and master's will probably tell us their rule book doesn't allow it....even though we may then recieve a bit more transparency from a reliable, trustworthy BOD....never know it may not end Armgeddon, that is if the BOD change their mind and come to the party...and they haven't already pressed the destruct button!!!!

Guess I have to spell it out.
I have my reasons for Tuesday.....and guess the smart investors know that we are running out of time to vote.....one way or the other.
If we get something substantive Tuesday morning...something that restores trust in the BOD, then we have time to change our vote.
Simple as that and not to be suckered any longer....
I used to trust one the the BOD, I even stuck up for him.......what a fool I was.......but lo longer.....You know who you are and must realise your manipulative tactics are dragging this Company down and please don't drag anyone close to you down too. Valirx needs excellent scientists......not you.

If it is, it appears its probably being dragged out of them, kicking and screaming.
May I suggest by Tuesday morning?

...I continue to urge you all to vote a firm NO to all of the motions tabled by the BOD for Monday weeks meeting.
We now need to force them to reconsider their response to our reasonable requests.
We have time, they may not and its their fault, not ours.
Please trust me, my intentions are honourable as I do not wish the good selfless employees working within and alongside the company to suffer as a result of anything we are doing.

I note, the threat of an investor revolt hasn't damaged the sp. Well, nothing compared to the news of the proposed share consolidation, and its likely consequences alongside previous irresponsible actions taken by the BOD.
Do we really want to allow them to drive us out?
Without news or an update or anything of substance, they surely will, and in the process continue rubbing dirt in our faces, as we are considered just gamblers and have to accept the consequences of our actions.
As for me, its the risk associated with failed Cancer research. Nothing else.
Especially anything that smells of incompetence or worse.
The action group voiced their concerns and even made recommendations to the BOD via Satu.
The reply was a complete snub.
So we do need to ramp up the pressure.
Trust me, we will....over this weekend, through Monday, culminating on Tuesday.
If some of them wish to have jobs, albeit in a less potentially damaging role, they still have time to do the honourable thing.
Its their call.
I am prepared to stand up and make myself personally accountable for some of the content of my posts over throughout the weekend, culminating Tuesday morning. My risk and not the groups.

Someone asked me if earlier if I knew someone ...I told him I don't.....but I read his or her posts and that they are pretty disgusting and abusive.
This guy asked me how many posts are there in existence..
I told him there are loads on line.
He told me that if others have been sent by the same person from the same keyboard, the smaller the better, under a different Identity there is software developed to accurately match them......So long as there are plenty.

A gamble based on professional management working whilst having investors interests at heart.
Not loading the dice by inviting short term vultures in, and excluding us, in order to make a quick killing at our expense.
Sorry but I'll risk whether the drugs work or not......if we actually had meaningful updates, I might have some idea.
That was my gamble...putting my trust in so called professionals, but don't expect them to gamble my money and continue to reap rewards themselves if their risky initiatives don't pay off for them.....
Still the authorities are showing interest in Woodford as he's a big player.
They aren't interested in small fry......
