No great increase in risk through combining the two.. Nuclear can provide the waste (free) heat for SOEC operation as well as the electricity. This gives approximately 25% efficiency advantage. Whether we should be using nuclear at all is a different question......
Maninshed, this seems to be a very illiquid share, when I first started buying I had to get several small lots as I could not get a quote on HL for larger quantities (which I prefer to keep trading charges to a minimum). I suppose most people who were thinking of increasing holdings will have taken the recent share offer, hence quiet now. I didn't, anticipating a fall after the issue I bought more at 28.74 yesterday, which in hindsight was hasty - today would have been better! Average is now down, but I am still significantly underwater. Hoping for good news in the short term and major orders in the medium ~ long term. Best regards, SimonV
