Lending will be prudent to start with but will helpnus ammortise the loan book. We are lucky to have a good cushion and have to hope complaints doesnt erode this too fiercely. I think next year we can take the handbrake off a little more when our funding is sorted out and as the 2nd wave of Corona eases. Long term hold but 20-30p between end of year and Easter very possible.

Its not irrarional. You can derisk and buy this when its stable for a few p higher and no risk of capital loss. Until we lend with some.volume there is no business here we re just bleeding a slow death. Totally appreciate new money will sit this out for now. Not fun i confess.

Well I hope you're right!! The one thing we have in our favor is good capitalisation and a cushion financially so there is some grace to sort stuff. We deserve some positive news without doubt!

Sentiment and fear

Lending is not going to do much to the SP. This will help improve weak profitability over the next 12-18 months..it will also help to gradually amortise the loan book and help cash reserves. We need access to funding markets and clarity on complaints combined with other stuff inc FCA. One leg on stool will stop the rot with SP but you ll all be very dissapointed as it ain t going multi bag fo 12-18 months IMO. And thats if everything else works out ok! Only my view.

I believe any complaints involving a guarantor have been halted until amigo has an agreement with the FCA on their treatment. It infers that there are false complaints and Amigo not just dishing put payments without push back.

This has already been extended until end of December? Won t be am rns specifically therefore perhaps? We need some low level of lending to start so we can ammortise the loan book and pay down debt. Any delay to lending may be a positive inference on complaints as we have capital buffer so if its not being wrecked with complaints volumes there is less hurry/ pressure one could argue. We also need a longer term and more diverse sources of lending then going toward April we can pick up the lending against falling complaints and a resolution with the FCA. Lots that can go wrong but also clear path back to stability. We are B3 or CCC- rated which is one anove default and reflects sizeable risks here. Gulp. Don t eff this up Gary!!

IIs want dividends and an income for their investors along with stability. You re on some weird cloud cuckoo if you honestly think some II is going to speculatively punt with their clients money. The FCA hardly helped with last RNS. Further if lending was a panacea then NSF would be at 20p + given all the advertising and lending going on. They are not. The reality is that 3 or 4 major interlinked pieces need to fall in place. That will help but you need at least 2 Qs of stable business to even have a platform to speak to IIs. This is way further down the line and many more important things to sort before then. The BOD needs strengthening and needs to prove it is on track. Any major price action beyond 20-25p will be a good 6-9 months away provided we do actually make it that far. We need a credible CFO with connections and they don t grow on trees either. I think the sentiment on the board is great but you re just way ahead of yourselves IMHO. If this took 12 months to get to 20p it would be an incredible investment. 100% in a year!!!! You wabt 300-400% by christmas because youre entirely unrealistic from seeing the occasional penny stock like a Vela go mental. Well for each of them there are many many bamkruptcies. Get real folks...this is a long slow burner. Any thing that happens quick will be a massive bonus. IMHO.

No one talks about debt. The number 1 thing is not complaints as a standalone issue but how we get collections in, keep complaints payouts as low as we can so that we can meet our debt obligations!! All these issues play off against each other and make the position of Amigo very hard to call accurately.

Well they are hiring for a few extra folk and that can only be because they expect a bow-wave of demand created by Covid and Furlough Gabs mate!:-)...it may mean a few delicate conversations needed to gee up payments. I personally don't mind if relending takes a while as I'm sure the BOD will want good data to determine the impact on the current book of business from the tighter Covid restrictions and ending of furlough. This is another biggy to work through and they can't afford to throw caution to the wind and build up the next issue. Let's get ducks in a row unlike NSF who are desperate and need new money in fast to cover the holes in their finances.

This will happen late November early December after the 1/2 year accounts are done. Christmas doesn't have anything to do with it. Furlough payments stop this month and by this time next month there will be plenty of folk wanting a dig out financially, which is when we'll be ready to step in. With the furlough scheme running out we will also get true visibility of the Covid impact so in summary 4-6 weeks before relending kicks off.
