Thats true Seamus...i m thinking of all the myriad of lenders who have been caught in a death spiral..in fact i can t think of one that got through something like this and turned around. I can t see us go under at all but, given how this type of firm has played out in similar scenarios its enough to keep us severely under cosh with sp..very exciting to be in at bottom of this. 10p.avg will do fine.

What is needed is certainty around complaints numbers not a..well we re still getting lots..i might add that although the provision was at least150m. It was stated that the provision would be reviewed. I would expect this to be 180-200m as that fonal sting in tail. If we can stop then see lower volumes we will escape albeit with some war scars to fight another day. If 150m circa is it..id be thrilled!

I think the news will be uncomfortable to say the least. But i also believe we ll be shown some light at end of tunnel. Enough to believe that the worst is starting to pass. That alone should see 12-13p by christmas. News on directors buying shares alone will prevent 6-7p from lasting long if we do tank again.

Bingo Vorag..yoou da man! my thoughts precisely. I'd say 70/30% the business gets to the other side and there you have 300-1500& return over the next 1-3 years. That part is hard to call but if we wanted to make 10% we d time an investment into BT or Centrica wouldn't we?!! Worth a decent punt this one!

FOS does very nicely out of us and need to keep us alive whilst also draining our blood. PPI revenues for FOS need replenishing so they may not push back on CMC's that hard as they are curiously part of the same universe which is making money from Amigos mistakes. Will get sorted but drag on with higher complaints volumes for a while. It might feel like a slow torture for another quarter. I really really hope not but...if it was an easy and obvious path back you wouldn't need turnaround experts just your average folks would do!:-) We've got a good team because nothing else will do such is our poor state of health. Time will heal!:-)

Thats about right Hilly. Conplaints can easily overwhelm this sort of business model and i 1000% believe there is more baddish news but within that some light finally at end of the tunnel..guessing sp from week to week is a mugs game in the end so will just hold. This business is not out of the woods but there is a narrowish path back in time. If it was a shoe in for survival we d be at 50p already.
