What a strange place we find ourselves in. Falcon and Tamboran are totally disconnected from each other as companies. I know we've had raises and we have different configurations and risk profiles. Even the falcon share price seems quite disconnected on the different platforms too at times. Such volatility. The only thing that will be bring a jump higher is proved up results. Is it realistic to think the price jumps on good results from just one shortie well? I hope it does and not pouring cold water here. Just being realistic. What are others thoughts. I'm in it for the long run so not going anywhere regardless on the feedback but interested to hear others thoughts on it.

It's not moving on volume which is good. Leaked Bad news tends to pick up steam as quick as good news. The low volume indicates to me that it's not good or bad yet and some people are heading for the exits in anticipation of more bad news. But as most of us are in it till it dusts or soars all we can do is speculate or accumulate. Best of luck all. I hope 2024 is our year.

Tight not right

As surprised as others to see the negative 4% this morning. Really is like trying to guess which way a rugby ball bounces. But as WW says I'm in it for the final sale not to make pennies along the way so not reading into it too much. Flow rates are all that counts. If the flare was same size as amungee that would be right as that was flowing at a rate of 1mmcf and while we only drilled a 500 shortie 1 mmcf would not be commercial levels on a 30 day flow rate. Not sure how if anyone can read flares on this board but I'm guessing it's like reading tea leaves and unless it was 5 times bigger or smaller you can't rely on those satellite images too much.

Tamboran up 7% already today.

Wonder why it tanked on the 22nd if the flare has been there since the 19th?

I guess it's not a very actively followed share. Shows you how mad the market is for this share.

I sometimes think we overthink things on this board when the reality is most of the traders for Falcon are a mixed bag with likely limited info.

His options are worth many multiples of what he sold.

I'd probably do the same. De-risk a small percentage of my overall value in case it went to zero. The bulk of the options are the real value if this share takes off.

Wouldn't read anything into that other than it's probably the same thing 99% of us would do whether we thought we were going to the moon or not.

I've asked this question before and never got to the bottom of it. But what dictates if a trade is considered a buy or sell, as obviously every trade is both. Is it the sequence that matters? For instance if I place a request to buy and someone then sells to me it's considered a buy and not sell as the buy initiated the trade? or is it based on the strike price. Given a bid refers to the highest price a buyer will pay you to buy a share and the ask refers to the lowest price at which a seller will sell the stock. Does the price landing closer to the bid or sell price classify it either as a buy or sell. Ultimately it makes no difference but it would be good to get the rationale.

Why was the raise split like this. Was it to facilitate existing shareholders pre emption rights? Strange that they would open up a share purchase process right after raising 90m especially as the interest was so low. It looks like this was a process that was possibly run to keep them clean legally. If a share holder had pre emption rights but we're kept out of that big raise, they'd have a case even if they never intended to buy a single share at 18 cents. Very strange to see them doing a finding round especially if they are only getting 1m for it. I'm sure it would make sense with further context but looks strange.

While I don't disagree that someone like Sheffield could pick up falcon quite easily I suspect until commerciality has been proved he's more interested in control of his investment at this stage. As people have already mentioned he's in the beetaloo for around 250m and hasn't a sausage to show for it yet. While he's been patient and passive up till now he's going to want oversight and input into all decisions from now on as he must be uncomfortable at this point. I think the change in completion fluids and the mess up with the Skin on the latest drill is the last straw for him. He's now got two directors on the board and I'd imagine any further spend at the moment will be at the top (control) level in Tamboran and not falcon where he can't have input on what happens with the drill. If we proce commerciality he might circle back to gobble up Falcon if it only triples or quads because the margin might make it worth it. But until Riddle stops pumping his money into the ground with no returns I'd say we are relatively safe from him anyway.

Fastest hole we've seen drilled yet... pity it was drilled into our share price and not into a gusher.

I guess this is the risk you take with oil and gas exploration. I'm remaining positive because we have seen empire get commercial numbers.

Maybe the yanks going gang busters on the dynamite and water isn't the way to make this gas field sing.

Don't get me wrong I'm seriously disappointed too but we aren't out yet and I suspect the beetaloo will come good in the next few years I just hope we aren't bought out for pennies before then.

I'm going to sit tight because losing my investment while terrible would be far better for my mental health than selling now, losing half my investment and then watching this stock go to the moon in the next 2 years.

Falcon investors are like Marines... you can't kill us... we'll just regroup in hell..... and I'm not making light of todays news either, we are definitely down....but not yet out.

But they figuring out the skin issue and flowing decent rates for 30 days would turn it around quick. No idea what the skin issue is though.

To be honest it all hangs in the balance of what happens to Tamboran. We can sit out for the next two years and let them figure it out but if they can't raise because their share price tanks then it's game over for us.

At these prices FOG is easy pickings for a whale too. Really not a great day for us.

Did anyone read the initial RNS at 97mmcf/d. I think it was changed T around 8.15 ish to 0.97mmcf/d. It was obvious it was poor results from the surrounding language but wondering if I just read it wrong or if it was a typo that got updated?

just thinking about it. if i was a tamboran shareholder i'd be really ****ed off at hoe this info was released.

imagine checking for your rns everyday only for it to squirt out of the junior partner while you are sleeping and ruining your share price.

not blaming falcon here either as philip has a duty to his shareholders to release important info as it becomes available.

but tamboran have really messed up here.

having said that i wonder who that wall of blue was. may have just been automatic trades but it would be very silly to have any automatic trades set up when results are about to drop.

i think how this info got to the market will be a hot topic for tamboran shareholders.

considering they have to do such a big raise it was silly to potentially antagonize their base.

If they have the results they'll have to release an RNS to the market first. An investor Q&A would not be the appropriate forum to release 30 day flow rates as you would be releasing very pertinent information to a semi-public forum as opposed to doing it as an RNS which is entirely public. Would open them up to legal issues if they did that plus this is a Falcon Q&A and Tamboran as the primary will be controlling the news release not Falcon.
