Dansey, you asked for my tale, so here it is again.
I am a long term holder, from around the end of 2019. I'm not going to reveal my holding. Back then I saw the excitement surrounding NXP001, Ebers, NXP002 and NXP004. I read the RNS's, watched Dan Goodings interviews and made the decision to invest believing there was enough going on that something might actually be a success. I was very excited and positive at first but I always knew the risk of genuine failure with pharma products. However, the failure and downfall in capital value that came about from early 2020 onwards didn't seem to be because of the products themselves. It seemed to be more about bad decisions and how the company was being run. Board members so frequently departed without explanation and turned their backs on products that they had told us were so promising. I'm afraid it turned me into a bit of a sceptic on management. However, I too still believe in the products.
I'm not going to reel off my history of irks again. As you've said in your second post you can think for yourself so you can read up on it if you're really interested.
All I will say is that I believe there is still a chance that something may come out of all this to make it attractive once more to serious, genuine investors but it will require two things for it to become possible. The first is obvious, the NXP002 orphan status designation approval. The second (and most important in my opinion) is a reliable, committed partner who will help fund NXP002 going forward and enable us to have the full time dedicated board that we deserve.
In my opinion, if those two things come about (and not before) then there MIGHT be a reason for genuine long term investors to start getting excited.
As for traders, I have no problem them. It's a tricky thing to do and I respect those that do it without having to influence others to get in so that they can temporarily boost the price for their own exit. I don't think too much of those ones.
