My point is, the board have had more than enough time and opportunity to make sure we didn't end up with zero leverage again.

EMA was the hot potato back in May. Everyone was anticipating a deal on that because that is what we were told was key. Then, all of a sudden, the goalposts move to FDA and a fundraise was required again. No real justification as why a deal wasn't sorted back then just more "Oh we need this now".

If that happens again and the FDA approval comes through without a deal, do you really believe the board are going to progress things any further?

Gooding has to deliver a deal on FDA approval because if they don't, I don't personally think they ever will be able to. If FDA approval is not enough to get financial support from a bigger partner then no one is interested.

Why keep saying discussions are progressing positively when you cannot provide evidence of it?

If they haven't negotiated deal that is conditional on FDA approval by now then I think it's game over anyway. They have had 18 months or more to garner interested and negotiate.

A part time board can't carry this through phase 1.

They can say they are a going concern by getting the partnership deal they've been telling us they were discussing for the last 18 months.

If they raise another years money then you'll be sat here talking about the next fundraise after that in 12 months time.

Can't see it happening. It would be catastrophic as it would signal either failure to strike a deal or a very weak deal (like we've seen before for our other asset)

They need FDA approval followed quickly by a strong deal announcement. A deal announcement should involve a significant upfront payment with a significant player to assist in future development or it should be a complete buyout.

Anything else would just raise too doubt in investors.

There should be no more need for fundraising if the board has been spending the last year and half talking to potential partners with a view to EMA (sorry FDA) approval being the key.

They've had plenty of time to line up the ducks. The recent rise is promising and pullbacks on such big rises are to be expected but if they come back cap in hand they will destroy the rise and it will also be a strong indication that there is no deal on the table at all.

Anyone who welcomes another fundraiser now is either a fool, a stooge or desperate trader trying to get back in.

At this point Dansey it just looks like people are getting in on the expectation that the board can deliver a deal of some kind on FDA approval.

Haven't seen this kind of movement in a while so it's very pleasant but we have no news yet, of a deal or of FDA approval.

It's quite exciting though after years of spiralling down. It would be nice just to see the 3 year high broken this week!

Pjmcgra, I remember somebody posting words on here that they'd seen on a certain persons LinkedIn account recently, talking about billion dollar deals for orphan status drugs being a reality. I they said something like "You just have to know how". Impressive stuff!

Surely not after telling everyone since early 2024 that you have been in discussions with potential partners and that EMA ODD was the key to getting a deal and then, after getting EMA approval, having to stretch it again for FDA. You wouldn't do it again after that, would you?

No, surely there has to be a chunky deal lined up after FDA? Something with a hefty upfront payment at the very least or better still, a full buyout! If that doesn't happen then what was the point of talking for so long?

GG, I made the mistake of buying in over 5 years ago when it looked like the company might actually have a promising future. Just before all the BS started and the board imploded.

Probably not the best person to look to here for encouragement. I believe in the products but I don't trust the board on their own to be able to deliver any kind of deal that will benefit the plc shareholders.

I've no idea what lies ahead from here or who it is that the board are supposed to have been talking to for so long. I've just seen what's gone before and it doesn't fill me with cheer. If these 'partners' do exist then they obviously want to stay hidden so that they don't have to pay top dollar. They might want to take it private for peanuts after all the work has been paid for by us, so they can do their own deal for the big bucks without having to share it out. I don't know if FDA approval will actually draw them out or just fuel another fundraising for the next wild goose chase.

If there is actually something to the 'partner' talks then I just hope that someone else is out there, waiting in the shadows, to upset the apple cart if cards ever do get laid on the table. A good old-fashioned bidding war might be the only way that the plc shareholders can actually get some return on their investment.

I keep hearing people say that the FDA is a pushover compared to EMA. If that's the case then why is the market not pushing the price up considerably just on the speculation alone?

All we're seeing is the usual P&D micro movements in price. They same old BS we always get before the company rocks cap in hand.

I won't believe otherwise until I see some evidence that has actually talking to potential partners.

It's time Gooding delivered something that adds significant value to the company without tapping us up all the time.
