Panmure Gordon's last joint broker activity was in Aug 2017 for Phoenix Global Resources plc as a Reverse Takeover in what they describe as being a "Joint Broker to Enlarged Entity". As I stated when this company floated, how is £600,000 in loans to New World oil going to be paid by next November? This company has no free funds, no prospect of any decent level of earnings, and no prospect of being able to pay that loan back. It will either dilute significantly further to become a very low penny share, or will have to go into receivership when the loan is called in. DYOR, but as I’ve said last year, you have all been warned! I take no pleasure from stating this, but as a long-term previous investor in New, I did and do know the full tragic story.

News this morning of China's sustained growth at 6.8%. All good for us!

Fellow investors! I have been consistent about this share for the last year, despite the slide down. What I believe and this is not ramping, but my own consistent belief...this company has the possibility of becoming a unicorn if it (a) gets its debt and finances in order and (b) has successful orders consistently arising and especially (c) if it cracks the WATER operation that it is already working on. Just to be transparent, I own 2.14% of the company (now after the Darwin dilutions) and will be holding for the long term. Good luck all. Believe! Baz

I fail to see why people are selling. Knowing this is always a long-term hold, and knowing and having faith in the science long-term, surely the trend is upwards. That's my view anyway, I'll be buying more tomorrow and holding to see what happens later next year. As I have done for several years now.

China - the biggest market is banning copper scrap imports from next year.

i've been positive here for a while and hold about 2.5%. This share will be like Bitcoin. You think 5p will be a good target now but if we succeed in the water processing and other markets, you can forget going to £1.50 and think more about £15 per share. oh ye of little faith might poo poo what I say but come back to me in a year or two! This isn't some long way off event...from The Guardian today..."As the measure looms, foreign vehicle manufacturers have announced plans to boost the production of electric cars in China. Volvo will introduce its first 100% electric car in China in 2019, while Ford will market its first hybrid vehicle early next year and envisions 70% of all its cars available in China will have electric options by 2025." Forget £8...in 8 years this could be £80!

This could be a gamechanger - last year alone nearly a third of all cars built in the world were in China.

With so many catastrophic disasters going on around the world you would think copper and copper shares would be rapidly increasing as an essential element in the re-building process.

MIke, I believe they have too many shares to have shorted pre each drawdown. They must hold a lot and therefore have a longer term interest in the share rising at an appropriate point. When that point is..who knows.

yes i did buy £5000 worth yesterday to keep averaging down. I still maintain that (a) Darwin can't really convert much more otherwise they will be too near to the 30% limit for a takeover, and (b) Darwin will ultimately want to see the share rocket as they will be one of the biggest shareholders. YES the slide has been downwards during the conversions with dilution but when that's calmed down..subject to positive news...this will fly...

OK I've held back from saying anything up until now..but believe me..I have known this company since way before it floated. The cash position is shot - not just because the costs are going to overwhelm any revenues in this year and funds left over from the float, not least with the opening of the US office and costs running at around £5m with revenues a fraction of that...but more significantly, because of the mess that Big Sofa got itself into before the float. If you read all 50 pages of the last accounts - I don't blame you for not seeing it...you've been misled by the company. Look at page 31 and the note referring to loans. There is a £600,000 loan..not from a bank as you might be led to believe, but from New World Oil & Gas (a company that I had invested in). This was supposed to be part payment for Big Sofa reversing into New which was listed, so that Big Sofa had a listing via NEW which had effectively become a cash shell. Big Sofa withdrew from that deal but kept the money as a loan. Look at that loan...it HAS to be repaid by November 2017. If not that particular loan can be called in from the Directors as they signed personal guarantees. I say to you that if the company does not have the money to repay, which it won't, they will be coming to you or the market for more funds and this will be diluted soon. Go ask the Directors how they intend to repay the NEW loan. It's sneaky of them not to even mention NEW or the terms in the accounts - such a significant sum after all relative to the company's income. This is information that you should consider and guys like Tom Winnifreth ramping this share, while admitting "we own a shed load of these shares" and with no mention of that loan...well...draw your own conclusions...he either doesn't know the history; doesn't know how to read a set of accounts (I'm told he does know); or wants to get the price back up to the level he paid so he can cash out. Only you can decide what to do with this but don't be taken in by the bluster.

Today's Darwin conversion price is: 1.217448p. 2nd August's was 1.8199p and 4th July's was 2.77965p. Not sure where you got 1.7p. The May RNS states, "the conversion price, being the lesser of 18.4375 pence per new Ordinary Share or 90% of the arithmetic average of five daily volume weighted average share price calculations selected by Darwin out of the twenty trading days prior to conversion". So that's how their price is calculated.

Forgive me TGrus...but you can't just libel the company in "black and white" here or anywhere. I declare my interest here at owning 2% of the company. Small but with every right to comment. The RNS does not say the "accounts are shit"; nor does it say there is no cash, nor the company is folding. If you have actually read all 83 pages of the annual report and accounts CAREFULLY ( http://www.graphenenanochem.com/sites/default/files/AR2016_v4.pdf ) you will see that the company is restructuring and getting rid of the poor performing elements, albeit for a loss. The company is not without cash - cash is coming in from Darwin even though that is currently driving down the share price. Also anyone complaining about Directors' remuneration should read the accounts to see that these are lower than the average UK office assistant. Everyone here is entitled to their view but please don't behave like a troll on Twitter - do it with the appropriate knowlege - head not heart. Every shareholder is hurting as Darwin exchange cash for equity. We need to wait until they are out for things to move up. I would encourage everyone to carefully read the last accounts in full - this is not as bad as everyone thinks although as I have said for a while, I accept the company needs to prove sales moving forward. I can only draw upon my experience of KAZ last year, when everyone was ****ging it off. I felt otherwise and bought in heavily in six figures. Price June last year just over a £1...today £8.69. Here at GRPH my average last year was 17p (ouch) but I have been averaging down (now 3.5p) and will continue to do so later in the month.

I could never have the nerve to trade. Have held a long position since last year. V happy. Only thoughts about £10 are that whilst a natural target and cashing in position, in this case is so close to entry into the FTSE100 that it should in fact prompt buying with that in mind.

£10.20 gets us into the FTSE 100 but a little higher to guarantee it. We won't make it for next Friday but a distinct possibility for 1st week of December...now that would be very helpful. GLA.
