I have just spoken with Peel Hunt and neither they nor their clients own our shares. The GRPH website was updated only in September and that leaves 2 months of trading before the suspension in November. The directors could of course refused to call an EGM pending the outcome of their discussions. Not least because as they live overseas, the expense of them coming to the UK for an EGM would only add to all of our costs within the company. Is it actually worth it until we have some answers regarding the takeover? All food for thought.

Platinum and Dato are Directors or their companies. However our group plus Peel Hunt takes us over 10%. i’ll call them. Normally brokers will take a ‘wait and see’ attitude’ No harm in making the connection anyway.

I would love to. The major shareholders are actually the directors. Which is why I think most people thought they would do everything they could to save the company in its current form. The biggest shareholder losers here will be the directors themselves. However other private investors, can still club together and be known to each other moving forward.

So we still own shares in the company, even though we can’t trade them. They’ll do the takeover (perhaps) and then try to relaunch on Aim fundraising with a massive dilution of our shareholdings. I feel a negligible value claim on my self assessment form coming.

I take your point but it's worth joining together as a group as the more shareholding power we have, the better in the decision making process. I would encourage everyone to join this shareholders group (so far 9 members) and then collectively we can see what we can do. I could be jumping the gun but we may have to consider a class action against the Directors in the High Court if we feel that the Directors have failed in their fiduciary duty to the company and therefore to us. i hope that MMs + institutional investors have enough belief in Kaz that going back into the 100 is for sure. Perhaps not this month but for sure in June. We have a renewed company with an excellent long term plan and a world needing more and more copper. We need a steady price above 10.50 to achieve this - here’s hoping!

As many will know, because of my previous investment in New World, I have warned of the issues relating to the repayment of that loan later this year. These boards would be useless if anyone concerned about something did not change their tune when circumstances also change. I would now like to congratulate the company on achieving the investment from Ipsos. New World (and I still call them that) will be repaid and working capital is there for some time. Although cash burn is high you can now see the wood from the trees. Well done. The Ipsos investment could mean a future takeover by them, but it is never for sure. For example I was involved in ASOS when Bestseller built up a share of 29%. Everyone thought they would seek to takeover ASOS but actually they simply wanted to cement their working relationship with them and that has lasted for many years now. Good luck all.

The CGT note to the SA form asks us as taxpayers when we believe the share became of negligible value. I would respectfully suggest on mine, that if post 5th April the company does in fact fold that we believed the company became worthless after losing its nomad during suspension. However, I hold out hope that we get a RNS telling us that the new deal is sorted and we’re up and running again!! Here’s hoping...

Hi Squid, less of the abuse please. Trust me i’m experienced in the markets. Also know the industry well. Also received an MBE for being in this sector. Not sure anyone at Hardman has been honoured. Success with Asos bought me my house in London. Here’s a challenge to you Mr Squid...you find me a company...any listed company that successfully fundraised at 5 x per share of their then market share price (no consolidations please) and I will eat my football on Youtube live! You’re all quite right, and I am at risk of losing about 120k - Pounds not shares. The only positive spin I can put on this, is that 1. my loss will it least wipe out my capital gains tax for this year and 2. The directors here have so many shares themselves that by saving the company they’ll be saving themselves some value to. Here’s hoping! Baz

you’re quite right that anyone in for 1.00 should be worried! I guess my point really is that if the fundraising was for 25p, then everyone now, currently owning shares worth 4 or 5p, would immediately sell after the placing. That doesn’t make sense to anyone planning to invest. Therefore, the placing will always be at or below current share price to make it attractive. All the best, Baz
