I certainly hope Horta and Gusmao stick to their guns. The pipeline is coming to TL. If Woodside don’t like it, they can clear off. It’s time we got a yes or no from Woodside instead of stringing this out. The industry is being built in TL. That’s not changing nor should it. Hurry up Meg. China is waiting.
Have to factor in CNOOC talking to Sundagas/ Timor Gap.
China hosts Vietnam, Laos, East Timor ministers in ASEAN outreach
SHANGHAI/HO CHI MINH CITY -- Beijing is welcoming a string of Southeast Asian foreign ministers this week, as it moves to shore up cooperation with regional players that keep the U.S. at arm's length.
The three Southeast Asian states dispatching their top diplomats this week have a range of motivations.
Prime Minister Gusmao visited Beijing last September, leading to an upgrade of ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. Plans for cooperation include the possible development of oil and gas in the former Indonesian colony, with Chinese companies.

Ok, agree it must change. Horta visited London. Spoke to BOIL management and never mentioned Chuditch. Not even after receiving a beautifully preserved fossil. What more could Andy Yeo have done. Hard to fathom.
This news is a confirmation of what we knew. It’s great news indeed. New directors will bring fresh ideas and energy.
The greatest news is funding and partnership with a major company to exploit Chuditch. Not certain but highly likely given the last interview.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter. I listened back and still heard Sundagas. Osaka makes more sense. But we need or it would help greatly if TL government and/or media would start bigging up the Chuditch gas fields. Like they do with GS. That’s what I’m looking for. All the bloody time. Thought I’d found it. The drill isn’t far off. The TL media silence is really annoying
Thanks Steve. My hearing needs checked out. Oh well. Maybe someday soon we will literally dominate the TL news sector.
More news. Change happening for the better. Fantastic energy and leadership now.
Eddie, you hear Osaka, I hear Sunda. Let’s call the whole thing off.
Can’t remember so much positive news flow from both inside the company and outside with TL government activity. Very encouraging. Hopefully the share price will soon follow.
The three day visit to China is very interesting coming just before the Australian height level meeting. Greater Sunrise will surely factor highly in both.
Dili, 2 April 2024 - Following the first preparatory meeting for the Senior Official Meeting (SOM) between Timor-Leste and Australia by the end of this month, the Director General of Bilateral Affairs for Asia and Oceania, Mr. Marcos da Costa, hosted his counterparts and representatives from the line ministries for the second preparatory meeting for the said SOM, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
This second preparatory meeting discussed about the specific areas of cooperation between Australia and line ministries as well as about the draft agenda for the upcoming SOM, which was provided by Australian Embassy in Dili today.
Taking into consideration the amount of technical and substantial arrangements for the SOM, the meeting had agreed to reconvene on the 11th April 2024, for the third preparatory meeting, at the same venue.
This has to be the first time a TL media outlet has mentioned Sundagas in the same breath as Greater Sunrise. Things are looking up. (right at the end of the video)

Indonesian President-elect Prabowo to visit China in first official post-polls foreign trip
2024.03.29 Jakarta
Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto will visit China next week at the invitation of President Xi Jinping for what will be his first official overseas visit since his election last month, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Friday. Regional political observers see Prabowo’s upcoming visit to China mostly in the context of Sino-U.S. competition for influence in Southeast Asia, and Beijing’s investment of billions of dollars in Indonesia.

This tends to spark into life when least expected. Momentum and news flow leaning to the positive again. Butler means business. A fresh start. Easter Rising.
I think that’s a real possibility. Nothing concrete to back it up though. Unfortunately TL officials never ever mention Chuditch in their press releases or community meetings. Waiting for firm drilling date to us to take centre stage.
Don’t forget the importance of CCS in this new Saudi. Right on Chuditch’s doorstep.
Santos
Bayu-Undan has had a 20-year history of providing natural gas for customers across Asia, while supporting local jobs and injecting over $US25 billion into the Timor-Leste economy. Now there are plans for it to play a critical decarbonisation role by transitioning into a carbon capture and storage site - creating a potential new industry with ongoing employment opportunities.
This includes building on existing initiatives where in the past five years through Santos’ aim to deliver local jobs and training, the number of Timor-Leste nationals transitioning from semi-skilled roles to skilled positions has risen from 66 to 92.

Uh huh huh
VT. Second preparatory meeting. This and China meeting make April quite a month.
