What's happened to that supposedly great growth area?

Fierce Pharma has highlighted GSK's multiple pipeline oncology failure this year.

This area was supposedly going to power the pharma business longer term growth.

Much less emphasis on that in today's update imv.

AS mentioned many times the market is not interested in the size
of the dinvend but is very interested in the sustainability of the payout.

The payout was like an anvil around the neck of GSK, very good decision

as some of us highlighted was on the way.

GSK gave a detailed answer to the dividend question months ago
on one of the conference call answers which I posted on this board.

IN terms of debt they have the option to issue further shares, IF necessary,

so I don't see debt in itself as an issue - however equity raises are dilutive

to existing holders.

Nada, pulled down on sentiment against BEZ and HSX imv.

I only hold Lancashire in this sector currently.

Not sure how accurate those are, particularly when you can usually
deal well within the quoted spread.

So 2.90 plus has to wait for now, that being said the statement looked really positive
for the year ahead.
