Back in to a new bear market.

This was a very brief intra-day dip last week, this time something

more significant?.

Firstly, no one knows where the SP will trade in the future,
yes we can all make a guess/estimate, but that's all it is.

The stock market is about probabilities, never certainties.

I'm long Avia fwiw, but aware the SP usually takes a hit on any
market volatility/weakness. Added a small amount on Monday.

Can anyone briefly explain why the large recent SP decline,
I'm guessing the gold price is related to this,

This is imv what the market is looking at ..

COVID cases in the UK where the bulk of Primark stores are located
are now rising rapidly again - see today's report.

Their online competition is upping the ante
and I do not accept that online competition does not take
money that would otherwise have been spent at Primark stores.

There looked until recently a large gap in price between Primark and
some of their online competition - doing my own research that gap
appears to be closing and that was the essence of Primark's USP,
or a good part of it.

If you are not holding a stock, why would you be bothered what it does,
or does not do.

Do you think any successful investor would waste their time constantly repeating
the same statement, over and over again on multiple boards - not only
on multiple boards but on more than one investment site.

Most people see right through that - it's as obvious as snow.

To me it highlights someone who may have made some dreadful investment
decisions.

Poker, on the cusp of a bear market in BT.

I take your point but BT are currently looking for investment partners.

GS are usually the cleverest people in the room, why did they not

partner with BT?

Market rewards growth, not stagnation.

Experian, 3i...etc.

The UK market is more than capable of valuing UKX stocks which are growing.

GS is someone you want to be in partnership with,
not effectively in competition with.

Why did they not choose BT, who are looking for partners ATM
to partly fund their CAPEX?

Perhaps that is what the City may be asking.
