Listened to most of the call, CEO looked a little less relaxed than usual -
perhaps the result of an activist billionaire hedge fund manger breathing down your neck!!.
Many points raised during the presentation went someway to answering Third Point's letter.

There is a lot to like on the FY, although markets appears to have latched on to understandable slowing HK and China new sales growth.

Another ugly day for markets - added, large holding now.

PRU very kindly offloaded over £3 billion of debt on the spin off.

It's debt coupled with current equity conditions that is weighing.

That is likely markedly different from the death rate.

Reported cases are disproportionately skewed towards the more serious infections.

1% would still be approx 10x more pernicious than seasonal flu. I would hope the death rate
is closer to 0.5%.

There is more too it than just compensation.
The UK economy has slowed markedly over the last 3 years, we are barely growing.

The same has happened in multiple other countries.

What scenario? I don't see one. There is too much debt in the system.

I think you need to look at the wider cycle, we are 11 years in to an expansionary cycle
(Although it may not feel like it). No economic cycle post WW2 has lasted this long.

Recession risks are growing and at least for me, that is what the Lloyds SP is pointing towards.
