RE: Good investment?19 Dec 2019 00:20
I sold my KHC shares at $76-77, then watched them race up to near $100 a share.
Very luckily was not tempted to buy back in.
Kraft is a food company, Unilever is broad based- beauty and personal care, home, food (and refreshments)
Beauty and personal care is now the largedt division, from memory.
Certainly there are challenges, online purchasing, supermarket own brands etc.
Unilever still looks pretty nicely positioned to me, however would agree there is little
room for complacency - and it is possible their H1 2020 may disappoint.
The shares are not cheap(rarely are) and you could make a case that the current X demands great execution.
In terms of the multiple it is perhaps worth adding that is a late phase bull market
bargins are few and far between.
