What we're in the midst of is an equity market crash, and they are very rare (in UK terms-
emerging and frontier market equities are often more volatile)

Many people use the terms Interchangeably, but there are differences.
Every crash is a bear market, but not every bear market entails a crash.

I would describe a crash as a highly compressed fall of 20% plus within a very short timeframe,
typically unfolding over a few weeks.

87 is the nearest to this I can reference and was still a teenager at the time.

and was late for 6th form college in Thames Ditton.

I think the case for PRU longer term is compelling. I do hold other stocks.

Just for transparency I hold as of now 25505 shares at at average price, including costs of £10.757 exactly.
