23 pence is my target on Lloyds fwiw. Leaving on WTO is not priced in to
the Lloyds share price - all very much a case of IMV only, DYOR etc.
The Lloyds SP hit a high of £9.76 in 1999, EPS peaked at 46.2 pence a share.
Their 12 month EPS was far higher than the current share price!, remarkable!.
At the time Lloyds only had 5.5 billion shares in issue, I use the term only
as there are now not far short of 72 billion shares in issue.
The damage done by the huge share issuance during the financial crisis.
£5.91 per share was the Lloyds 2007 SP high, pre financial crisis.
Moving along to 2015 when Lloyds touched 90 pence a share, it's been a slow,
but steady decline since.
If you want a laugh(or cry) look at the 20 year return on LLOY v ULVR.
