Firstly, no post here makes the slightest difference to the SP,
it's akin to a fart in a hurricane.

Secondly, besides eventual death none of us know the exact future.

We can guess estimate at best.

I have no idea what the short term SP will do, I thought there may be some give back which happened. What may be more interesting longer term is NES may be left in a stronger position re competitors as a result of this crisis.

If I was feeling brave would buy a chunk, but that's not the case atm.

NEX is currently trading as a risk on/risk off stock, or something similar.
It's generally outperforming the wider market on stronger market day
and the reverse also applies.

That can change at any point obvs.

Solid statement, could not ask for much more given the sector and coronavirus backdrop.

Also the first indication of NEX winning a contract from the disruption.

Broker comment on Nex, that is.

What's the Lloyd's buy case?, I dont see one unless looking very longer term.

Broker comment today accentuated the downward move,
wider market direction also obvs.

If the market continues to sell off, more than possible.

Lloyds made another new multi year low intraday.

Unlikely this December fwiw, on a 2-3 year view it looks attractive imv,
unless this virus has significant further waves of infection to come.

Even at these levels post results?.

I can try to answer that question...

The market plunge low was made during extreme fear and an equity market plunge,
However more importantly there was arguably a question mark over the viability of the business.

That question has now been answered by the trading information given since
coupled with the equity raise, cancellation of dividend and other cost reduction measures.
Government schemes such as furlough have also helped improve sentiment and further reduced operating costs.
All imv only.

Just to clarify the previous post, Tesco have stated it's a special dividend.

EPS though would take a bit on those earnings no longer s part of the group?.

The vilification of a bank like Lloyds under a Tory government is disgraceful
and economically illiterate.

Lloyds were effectively told to take over HBOS, with the subsequent PPI motherload that came with it?.

I don't currently hold again Lloyds because under the government are the UK regulated banks investable any longer?.
